Exactly this bro, I see this a lot related to safety "Men will never know what is to walk in fear at night"- Any man, specially men that lived in poorer neighbourhoods know that you learn to be safe and you are always looking over your shoulders, but to dispel the myth that patriarchy gives privilege over our safety is seen as trying to shut women down.

The time to talk about female sexual abusers is when talks about sexual abuse come up. We need to stop giving women priority over this because this is a mankind issue not a female one, what in fact ends up happening is that when women talk about it we can't speak up and when men talk about it we are labelled incels or Mra's.

it goes the other way as well, if you describe a positive trait as being masculine you will be chastised. Traits can only be toxic when masculine and neutral when good.

When I was in High School and trying to figure out dating, I was THE MOST respectful person in school, never used swear words , always made sure I listened to the girls not interrupting them, was polite and chivalrous ... what I got in return ? being constantly asked if I was gay lol

It is weird isn't it ? As a modern man the way to be transgressive is to wear a dress or carry a purse for some reason I can't explain

There is also the false idea that only men need to change for these changes to happen at the societal level, when women contribute directly and indirectly to uphold "toxic masculinity". Ex: I had a girl dump me the day after being emotional in front of her and I had former partners using sad stories I told them against me when they were angry. This happened so often that now I only allow myself to be vulnerable and open with male friends

Universal childcare would also reduce abortions, many people just don't have kids cause they can't afford it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
