I cannot thank you enough for this. My ex was this exact guy, and 3 years of my life were spent in guilt and punishment. I loathed myself because he made me believe I was such a terrible person, and I stayed to make "amends" even when it got too abusive. I thought I was crazy, no one would believe me when I told them the kind of stuff he said to and did to me. I am so grateful I found this community of women ❤

This is me. Even I feel only disgust at men, don't think a single one is worthy of touching me. I think this is a good sign, this helps keep our standards quite high and not fall for an LVM ever again.

Oh my God, this happened to one of my friends on her Hinge date. They were sitting on a rooftop and this dude goes, "You know I can rape you right now and know one will be able to hear you, right?" Yeah she got the fuck out of there asap.

Sounds similar to one of my exes. I was in the hospital because I had very high fever (103.6, and it wasn't going down with paracetamol) and I was really scared. He didn't come to visit me in the hospital because he had some stupid band practice for their show the next day. He didn't say that at the time, he made some stupid excuse about not being well, but he was well enough to make it to his practices. Imagine. And HE dumped me 3 months later. God I despair at my pick me days.
