I have no problems with how long it takes truckers to turn or accelerate etc. Obviously i'm going to pass you quickly if it's an option. Also act like you belong, hold your head high and walk with purpose. I've walked into shows without paying doing this. I get discounts on occasion when I small talk vendors and make them laugh. Be a happy enjoyable person to be around. People will see this and be in a better mood because of it, thus discounts etc.
