There is something wrong with me that makes me almost exclusively attracted to women who don’t make it easy, as in they go hot and cold a lot. Sometimes they’re enthusiastic to talk to me, others times it’s were barely friends. I must be a sadomasochist or something because this makes no sense

Well yes. Just like a man with legs is in a much better position to run a marathon than a man without legs. This to say that I find this whole post disingenuous. There are SO few men who can’t even hold a conversation with women, complaining about flirting that this post is irrelevant. It makes it seem like this is a common issue when it really isn’t. Most people have friends of both genders, if not at least are able to have a friendly chat with women in their workplace. This post serves literal…

Again,I’m sick of people acting like every man who struggles to flirt is some guy who spends all day on Reddit and never speaks to a woman or has an active social life. They’re just completely Different Skills. That line wolf thing is bullshit than no man dwelling in reality actually believes. But there are scores of men with active social lives and friends of both genders who struggle to flirt.

That’s not what I’m saying. To use your analogy, talking is walking, flirting is rock climbing. They’re completely different. I’m sick of people acting like every man who struggles to flirt is some guy who spends all day on Reddit and never speaks to a woman or has an active social life. They’re just completely. Different. Skills.

This just isn’t true. You can talk to women like normal people all day, but flirting is completely different. Just talking to them as a friend isn’t going to help at all with flirting

This is stupid. This has the same energy as “There are starving kids all over the world so be grateful for your mouldy bread”. Nah. They’re both problems and both below an acceptable or reasonable standard.

Your point about them only liking stereotypical black men is fucking spot on.

Why is there such an inverse between intelligence and romantic/ social success? And which side would you rather be on? (For the record I know there are outliers of people who excel in both, but going off generalities…)

Honestly this. A huge part of it is mindset and getting out of your own way. Though I think everyone has to come to it in their own time. I could have read every post on this subreddit three years ago but it would have done me no good. I don’t know what exactly changed within me, but once it did I became open to all these possibilities and new ideas

Apparently one of the partners at my firm (mid 30’s) is living the “red pill reality.” At the Christmas party a few nights ago He says that he basically got no female attention when he was younger and didn’t lose his virginity until his late 20’s. Now he claims he’s the exact same person but now he’s getting swamped with female attention and being hit up by old girls that he used to like but he’s turning them down (in my opinion he’s bitter and petty and that’s why he’s turning them down). He wa…

Well I’m the middle of a pretty big weight loss journey, so the fact that I just look better when I look in the mirror each morning. The fact that my clothes are looser when I wear them definitely helps boost my confidence. Also, I’ve been watching some videos on how to attract women so the fact that I when I talk to a girl I know strategies/ good things to say definitely helps me feel more attractive. I can’t recommend Todd V enough. At the end of the day, success begets success, so once you’re…

It’s a day by day process and a conscious choice you gotta make every morning until it becomes your default. You’ll get there one day man, just keep working at it!

Getting over this hurdle is honestly like you’ve been living life with one eye closed, and opening that second one is life changing. Problem is when you’ve lived like that for so long it can often be comforting to go back to what you know, even if it’s a worse position. The brain really is a crazy thing

I’m pretty simple. Block colour sweaters or checkered collared shirts with jeans/ chinos and some boots. But that’s my style and matches my personality and it’s what I feel comfortable in. You gotta find what’s best for you

Yes. All very accurate! Wanted to add another recommendation for Todd V! He’s really great and has helped me a lot

As someone who’s been single for ages, chemistry is vital for me in a relationship. If I can’t just chill around you then I’m not going to want to take on all the other stresses of a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/21 09:18 PM

Sometimes you meet a lady that’s so easy to talk to, that’s makes you laugh, that makes you care about her happiness... Man feelings stress me out

Just realised I don’t know a man who does fine with Women. My friends & social circle either consist of ‘chads’ who never struggle and girls go crazy for, or guys who are Virgins and really struggle/ have an n count of 1 or 2. I don’t know anyone who goes out and is successful sometimes, and fails others. Just a weird observation

If people were selfish and exploitative, they’d want someone with actual value to exploit, not just perceived value because there’s nothing to exploit there. And regardless, I said it was a tough pill to swallow, not that I didn’t know. I’d be looking for any evidence to the contrary, or chalk it down to just that one person rather than a wider phenomenon

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 02:18 PM

Modern dating for the ages of 18-26 is far more about percieved value than your actual value. If you can convince people you have value you’ll have far more success than people who actually do have value. This was one of the toughest pills to swallow for me.

Trauma I refuse to process and carry out in the form of ‘revenge’ to satisfy my childhood pain. Just kidding. Never actually cheated on anyone and woman I cared about enough to be committed would definitely major difficult to actually go through with the act. Though, I will say that if women think you have cheated in the past, it can actually make them more attracted to you. Very weird phenomenon.

False alarm folks!!! Thought I was falling in love but was actually the endorphins of meeting a good attractive level headed woman with the same sense of humour as me. I can go back to being a cold hearted bastard.

Overly logical brains will struggle in modern dating and I strongly believe many people need to just live in the moment more. Anxiety is a romantic killer. It’s sad because it’s not really anyone’s fault per se and logic brains are often developed as a defence mechanism to shield yourself from emotional pain, but the ensuing loneliness can cause even more pain.

Attraction is a balance of comfort and value. You want the girl to feel comfortable around you, but you also want to demonstrate enough value so that she’s worried you could easily leave, and so works to keep you around. Each girl will require a slightly different calibration of comfort and value. For example a girl who is maybe more shy will require 80% comfort 20% value. Whereas a girl who is more willing to sleep with people and has many guys after her may need 90% value and 10% comfort
/r/seduction11/08/21 04:55 PM

Girls break all their ‘rules’ for the right guy(s). Trust me, you’re better off assuming she’s like all the other girls and then letting her actions prove otherwise, rather than the other way around

Anyone else just want to fall in love? 23 but I don’t think I’ve ever been in love but it would be really nice to look at someone in the eyes and know they’re my person, you know?

Well because you don’t expect people to hook up based on certain buttons being pushed in the correct order. You expect it to be a melding of personalities & chemistry.

Having ingested a lot of PUA/ Red Pill stuff over the pandemic, now that things are opening up I’m going to parties/ social gatherings and it’s like a can see behind the matrix. I know what guys are consciously doing to flirt. I see them strategically escalating. All done in a way so the girl can say ‘It just happened’ It’s kinda amazing. Kinda incredulous. How easy and repeatable it can be some guys who know what they’re doing. It was especially surprising the variety of women it worked on. The…

Honestly. Attractive women are everywhere. And they’re soooooo common. Just go into it with an abundance mindset and you’ll be fine. You put effort it because she’s the one in front of you, but it will not take long at all to find a woman just as attractive.
/r/seduction28/07/21 01:48 PM

It doesn’t matter. Throw out some game anyway. Unless she’s a nun or 80 years old, why not try something?
/r/seduction19/07/21 08:17 AM

Didn’t work for me. I’m a leader in my work life. Constantly leading teams, I’m looked up to and people rely on me. I still had no self confidence in the dating game. They’re such separate arenas to me that I could be killing it in one, and suffering in the other. It wasn’t until I had success in the dating game that I actually developed self confidence there.

/r/seduction04/07/21 10:36 PM

Agree and exaggerate. “Yeah, maybe I’ll leave you and go talk to him myself (with a cheeky smile)”
/r/seduction04/07/21 05:31 PM

This is weird. How often are you out with your mom for this to be an issue? How old are you?
/r/seduction03/07/21 11:22 PM

I watch Todd V too and I can see exactly where he inspired your actions in this! Good job!
/r/seduction02/07/21 02:04 PM
3

I know how you feel. I used to be like that. Unfortunately, you have to kill that part of yourself. No one else is responsible for your happiness. You are. If you’ve been upfront with what you want, that’s all you can do. This self inflicted punishment (trust me, that’s what it is) will only leave you sad and lonely.
/r/seduction02/07/21 01:59 PM
1

I suppose a good example is self deprecating jokes. With friends they’re fine but with women it’s bad because you are the punchline. You are the joke. So avoid them, and anything in that style which makes you the joke. Overdoing ‘dad’ jokes are another example. Instead, you want observational style comedy. Or comedy through telling stories / experiences. Raises your value by having had experiences/ being smart enough to point out obvious things & it helps build comfort.
/r/seduction02/07/21 01:54 PM
9

It’s because they don’t want men to improve. There are a few men who ‘just got it’ and they only want those men. Any man who needs to be told or learn how to be better at this stuff they don’t want. That’s why they give bad advice. Because if a man can learn how to attract women, it proves how shallow and repeatable the whole thing is
/r/seduction02/07/21 01:46 PM
1

On your 2nd question, you want to make sure she’s laughing with you and not at you. If she’s laughing at you you’ll never be taken seriously and that’s a one way express ticket to the friendzone.
/r/seduction02/07/21 01:53 AM

Depends on what type of relationship you want
/r/seduction01/07/21 11:29 PM

People love to talk about themselves. What type of things do you ask them?
/r/seduction30/06/21 11:00 PM

If you’re both in gowns and clearly graduating then it’s fine. And I don’t mean a sneak attack lol. Like walk up to her with your arms out and wait for her to come in. If she doesn’t it’s fine, just talk.
/r/seduction26/06/21 11:20 AM
30

None of that matters at all. Maybe the only thing you’re missing out on is the opener ‘have you got a lighter?’ Aside from that, Bars serve non alcoholic drinks. Random DM’s on social media aren’t the best way to approach anyway and smoking is a nasty habit. All these are surface level excitement. You’re well positioned to offer something deeper. No going to lie, having one night stands will be more difficult but FwB or more is definitely possible
/r/seduction26/06/21 12:24 AM
2

Your graduation ceremony is a perfect opportunity to fix that. Even if you don’t know the girl, walk up and hug her. Everyone will be happy there. She’ll likely have plans for that day too and you could probably jump onto them if you make a good impression. Then it’s just about keeping in contact. Even if nothing happenes between you two on the day, she now associates you with one of the best days of her life. That’s your in. Use it.
/r/seduction25/06/21 09:17 PM

Well, at a certain point they’ve gotta become more than jokes. Trust me, I know lol. It’s hard & risky but if it pays off... How did she receive the jokes?
/r/seduction18/06/21 08:35 PM
2

You’re in a somewhat good situation because you haven’t seen each other for two years. I get the vibe you haven’t been escalating through text since you don’t know if it’s a date, but the fact that it’s just the two of you is good. Start with some light physical touching and see the response. Very possible you could kiss that day if she’s into it. Also distinct tactics you could use if you’re going sexual or romantic
/r/seduction18/06/21 06:56 PM
8

She’s in a different city that I was visiting and I don’t want to keep talking to her otherwise my damn brain will rationalise it as a one off and I’ll lose the confidence I gained. I gotta keep moving and approaching different girls. For now at at least until my confidence is firmer
/r/seduction06/06/21 11:40 PM
1

I’ve definitely played around with the idea of an exit survey, asking women what did and didn’t work for them with this approach. Obviously it wouldn’t work, but it’s a funny idea nonetheless
/r/seduction04/06/21 01:33 AM
5

I disagree, if you’re outcome independent will you really be putting your all in? I say be outcome dependant, but have a reasonable outcome. Perhaps the only outcome you’re looking for is to introduce yourself. Or learn her name. Or make her smile. Anything else that comes after is bonus.
/r/seduction28/05/21 03:00 PM
2

Ohh you didn’t clarify. So you’re talking about the way Joe speaks rather than the content. Ok got it
/r/seduction23/05/21 07:50 PM
2

I think you linked the wrong video. That’s about motivation & exercise. Trust me I don’t have a problem with that
/r/seduction23/05/21 07:35 PM
2

Well then define a healthy amount of disagreeableness for me? An example would help
/r/seduction23/05/21 07:13 PM
6

I need an example of that playful tease to create tension. For example, if she’s talking about her favourite movie and I don’t like it, I’d say things like ‘you like THAT movie?’ and ‘Well it’s fine if you have no taste’. Is that the right direction when you talk about not being too agreeable? I’m saying it in a sarcastic, exaggerated way. Do I need to create conflict on more serious matters? Appreciate the help
/r/seduction23/05/21 04:02 PM

Love this one. I use it too. Not overly performative or low energy. Builds intrigue on your part too

Once I understood this it opened a whole new world to me. The Pandemic and lockdown have been the best thing for me learning the theory of attraction. Excited to put it to use in public!
/r/seduction10/03/21 12:38 AM
1

Oh I thought these were well known concepts in this sub. No matter, I’m kinda new to the whole thing but my understanding of that is basically ‘playing hard to get’. Personally, I’d love to just walk up to a woman and say ‘You seem really cute, I’d love if we could go on a couple dates and see if our personalities gel?’ But from what I’ve learnt people in general (men & women) like the chase and so playing hard to get is somewhat of a necessity
