It’s for any men who want to attend. It’s for groups not a single person. Like a community garden except you do wood working or metal working and other activities. I just had a look and the ones near me do different things, one includes craft, one does outings another does community projects. My only issue is none seem to operate on the weekend or after 4pm so that makes it hard for me to attend.

I’d also bring up automonomy as a reason for the wage gap. Women choose of their own free will to work in lower paid jobs, less hours etc. they have all the same freedoms as men in choosing their life path. Now there’s an argument I agree with to help with this factor eg easier and cheaper access to childcare etc. but it’s still their choice. Gone are the days of the glass ceiling, being made to stay home the rest of your life once married or pregnant etc. I know personally I would have preferre…

Well you might want to check out the rest of the articles over the last week. I’m Australian and the first we heard about it was a week ago and every single report was very good in NOT naming him. They did say it was a cabinet minister. That it occurred in Sydney in 1988. This did narrow it down to three or four options and most landed on Porter as most likely candidate even though he 1. I’m sorry but this guy is a total c. He needs to go and in this instance he is probably guilty. He has a long history of assault against women and extreme misogynistic views eg his partners can’t weigh more than 50kg but have big tits. He’s twice divorced because he has affairs. Why couldn’t any women wear that? There were many women up there that weren’t speaking like Bernie they could have worn what they wanted. Nobody stopped them. They all had something called autonomy. They got to choose what wear. Just because they chose not to doesn’t give them the right to call out privilege in this case.

In Australia we have a Minister for Woman who has over the years done an excellent job in raising equality standards for women in this country. Which I find hilarious that woman are ‘safer drivers’. In my experience they do a lot more low level offences like speeding <10km/h over the speed limit, mobile phone usage etc. I had great joy watching a woman speeding tail gate me through a construction zone on the freeway I moved over to the middle lane when safe to do so she took off a few sec later the lights go on on the unmarked car behind her.

A female journalist organised one here in Melb. About 500 attended. A counter protest occurred with about 1000 called the men rapists and misogynist and tried to start trouble. This was pre COVID and the anti MR protestors were mostly wearing masks etc so they couldn’t be identified.
