Your own link says there were 16,000 gender studies degrees awarded for 2019 There were 1.9 million undergraduate degrees awarded in 2018 https://nces.ed.gov/programs/digest/d19/tables/dt19_322.10.asp Which means Gender studies made up a total of only .9% of degrees Which is basically nothing What's also really funny, is that your own link says that Gender Studies graduates make an average of $83,000 per year The median Programmer salary in America is $86,000 https://money.usnews.com/careers/bes…

You do understand that when studies look at wages they look at similar jobs right? They compare teachers to teachers, doctors to doctors, etc

If your logic were true no one would be making more than minimum wage Why hire someone for 12 dollars when you can hire someone for 11 People get paid less because employers value them less. That doesnt mean people of value never get hired. It happens that sexist employers value women less, thus pay them less
