Not sure how it is now, but I was there when the subreddit started. Thought it was a good idea to give other woman advice (after plenty of dating and relationship experience, ended up being happily married to a high earning guy that splits the housework with me and thought it would be good to share.) I was immediately labeled a "pick me" for what I thought were reasonable suggestions and banned? Like I was giving actual dating strategies that worked for me (breaking it down short term vs long te…

If you look in the side bar of r/randomactsofmuffdive it will have tips on how to meet people safely Good luck!

Definitely no PiV without steady commitment. Oral though I think you kinda need to teach because every girl likes it a little different. Like my husband is bespoke to me at this point. Personally I think ensuring he has a committed heart and a growth mindset is more important. Like if you're a good communicator and patient, it should be good with time. Growing together is the fun part.

I'm just glad this isn't like that r/redpillwoman sub 😬 it's like a whole reddit with Stockholm syndrome, or I really hope they're men pretending to be women.

Eh, it doesn't matter what he thinks. Forget him and move on. Just treat him like any other colleague. If that's difficult, look up the grey rock method, basically don't respond to his emotional "acting out" he'll get bored and move on.

I have found the dating pool is even more limited for successful, career-driven women. It really is! My buddy has a doctorate working in a smaller town area and she really does not have the dating options a larger city does. She dates more for similar status than education if that makes any sense? Like a police officer doesn't make that much, and isn't the most educated but he has that authority and confidence thing, right? the moment I try to get what I want-emotional support, physical/emotiona…

On vacation? Twice a day With a baby? Almost never Totally depends on the situation. Like barring a medical issue I would assume most married people are going at it once a week at least.

Hey good for you getting back out there I’m not sure about 3 months or other specific time period I don't think it's about time period, it's about if he's into the relationship as much if not more than you are. Do you have something you say when makeouts start to get steamy to let them know you won’t be having sex with them for a little while? An honest, "I really like you but I don't have sex until I know I'm in a committed relationship, call me old fashioned" worked for me. Depending on your d…

Food pics should absolutely be shared if they are with showing! Drool worthy pictures of beignets at Cafe du Monde, or something crazy at Alinea should totally be shared. Hopefully those pictures are balenced out with other stuff (pretty scenery from your run, flowers from your garden, embarrassing kitchen failure, etc) Great points about the other stuff

Realize that love feeling is just oxytocin in your brain. It's that hormone that gets you excited with new relationship energy. You can trigger it as easy as rolling on molly. I'd suggest new experiences, not necessarily the high risk behavior of fucking more people like other poster suggested (you'll just feel more emotionally empty after.) Mindful meditation, exercise (runners high) and meeting new people (platonically) are all better alternatives.

A man paying for a date/gifts for a woman is a sunk cost that gains him beneift, if at all, only with the person he's paid for/bought them for. There is a compensatory societal benefit for the man, it makes him look better. If you are with a beautiful woman already, it makes it easier to attract another.

Plus, all those meals spent on you doesn't help me attract other women across the table. Actually if you're in the company of someone of high status, it makes you look better. If you're with a beautiful woman already, it makes it easier to attract another one.

It's just so sad. Like these are easy, obvious truths. Like how vaccines work, or the world isn't flat. Women bear unseen costs to appear normal, most of the time you can't tell who's wearing makeup, like...that's what we're paying for? But like, let's not even get into how were judged on appearance before competence. Date outfits and makeup are totally different, or at least I'm never wearing those booty shorts to class, work or chilling. They are tight, uncomfortable, and serve only to give hi…

It's like the commenters here don't actually interact with women... Like what planet are these people from? Grandpa saying a woman's hair cut costs $30 and nails done is $5. This dude saying young woman don't wear make up to be pretty. Get out of the house! Just like step outside. Just...what? Seriously? I don't know how you have the energy to respond to this. Good on you for trying, but...damn.

All women are gold diggers. As a gold digger, let me stop you right there. There are plenty of girls who aren't. There are plenty of girls who just want to have fun, just be entertaining and exciting. Organize outings and be social. Be chill and fun and chill fun girls will find you. If you are somehow successful at pretending to have more wealth than you do, the women you attract will just leave when they find out probably before you get to second base. If you want to try it, buy a high end out…

Look it's superficial and I agree, the point is it happens to both men and women and getting mad at the success of someone beating the odds is just petty.

Fake attention? A guy wanting to have sex with a girl just based on appeared is fake attention too then? And most fat ugly people are ignored, male or female.

Okay to use people you might be familiar with, Homer Simpson or Drew Carey. The people I know in real life have something else going for them like they're decent people who have stable lives, professionals with good positions, older men who have their shit figured out. People who get angry about the success of others are trying to feel better about their own inadequacies in my experience.

But there are plenty of fat ugly women who don't get noticed, and plenty of fat ugly men who do get female attention. I'm not sure what you mean by fairness.

I was with you until that last bit about honesty. Men definitely lie about sex, not sure what point you were trying to make there. "Women can fake an orgasm but men can fake a whole relationships" and all that The law does takes it easier on women, maybe because statistically crimes women commit are lesser, so when the rare thing happens the judge or jury just doesn't believe it. Halo effect or whatever. They should really take domestic violence against men more seriously.

Men do have all the responsibility if they still choose to go the traditional way. I think MGTOWs are a response to that old way of thinking, they choose to dip out of that responsibility, and good on them for not subbing to an outdated model. You don't have to be a super aggressive go getter, if you don't get that promotion you're not a failure. There's no shame in not wanting a family. There's no shame if you want to look after the kids and be a house husband. Let the girls share the responsib…

I'm not pretending, in my experience there hasn't been a gender divide. Then again the minimal hate I've gotten has been more about my cultural background so my experience is atypical from the average American female.

No, guys do it too. Personally I haven't been directly called a slut, but I hear guys call other girls that and I've had a boyfriend praise me for "not being slutty like [other girl]" There's pressure from men and women to conform.

Not really. I've seen some of the most disenfranchised men do well romance wise without being horrible. I can't accept depression, being a minority, short, poor or whatever an excuse for lying or treating other people like sex objects. Mostly I'm confused by their entitlement.

So if some kids started playing a dumb game that endangered bystanders would you try to stop them? If you don't care about those bystanders, then sure let them break things and hurt themselves and others. How you respond to it is a reflection of your apathy. If you passionately try to convince the kids to stop, good on you for trying to be a responsible adult.
