"It'll be just like Beggar's Canyon back home." Luke was already an experienced pilot in the equivalent of a barnstormer aircraft. His friends like Wedge Antilles vouched for his ability as a pilot. Afawk, Rey climbing into the Falcon was the first time she had actually sat at the controls of a functional ship.

immoral banking practices by wallstreet caused the collapse seven years later. So how can spending billions on wallstreet have lessened the effect that wallstreet caused?

If having 7 females on my rescue team decreases the chances that the rescue effort is going to turn into a gun battle pissing contest then I'll go with the women. Life isn't Hollywood.

I don't know, I wasn't Army. and as I originally said the role of women in combat is highly contested. But that doesn't mean they don't get shot at and die.

I was Air Force. I didn't do ruck marches.

She was the first sergeant of an infantry unit? I don't know how that's impossible.
/r/MensRights12/04/15 09:47 PM

At one of my duty stations my neighbor was a female infantry first sergeant. If she heard you say that she would offer to go on a ruck run with her. And when you fell out she'd rip your head off and make you shit down your own neck. That woman was intense, and scary. She was a weird neighbor. Edit...so I guess she lied? I don't fucking care. This is the last time I try to bring an egalitarian attitude into Mens Rights. I thought you men might be more logical than fucking Tumblr for fucks sake.

This is just another wedge the wealthy and powerful encourage to further divide us. Men resent the social system that has crammed us into this position and rather than take out that anger on the people who control and influence it we look at our sisters and hate them when they are just as much puppets of the same social system that crammed them into where they are. We are all humans, brothers and sisters. There is an enemy and it is not your neighbor.

You have to avoid any military reference. Women serve and carry packs and go on long as fuck ruck marches too. While there is a much argued difference in physical fitness standards and ground combat roles most military men I've served with don't have a problem with women in the service with them. There are just as many whining shitbag servicemen as there are whining shitbag servicewomen. Edit, when your opinion is controversial the Reddit engine limits you from posting replies to comments. Nice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
