I don't know why I just went through my replies, but I am DYING at you taking home a tampon. I feel like that's something I'd have had to do, but I used to party way too much to remember instances like that. I do remember a time some horrible guy I dated at 20 asked me to hide my tampon wrapper from his roommate so she wouldn't be weirded out that someone had been there. This is something I had to explain to a friend right after I got engaged. She thought it ruined the romance that I picked out my own set. I felt that since I’d be the one wearing it, I should be able to say what I like. But apparently knowing how much it cost and what it looked like ahead of time wasn’t romantic. Anyone else having some mortifying early 20s flashbacks? So fucking glad I didn't wind up with any of the losers I let waste my time back then. We needed this 10+ years ago. Ugh. I don't miss sleeping in men's houses. That also reminds me of how I always had trouble breathing whenever I slept somewhere new. I wish this subreddit had existed when I was single because at 22, I really needed to be told that I didn't need to go home with 30 year old men with twin beds, like one regular pillow, a couch cushion and a sleeping bag for a blanket.

Wait. What is appropriate bedding? I do a sheet and comforter, and a bunch of comfy pillows, but this comment is making me wonder if I’m missing something?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
