Saying that two kids shouldn't face a life sentence for underage sex isn't defending it. Also, once again, why is it rape? There is no evidence of an aggressor in this case.

They might go to a correctional facility for a long time instead, but if the judge really wants to, he could send them to jail. And unless the public wants to try and do something, no, nothing will change.

As much as I love living here, the recent case of the woman being arrested for assaulting a police officer with her breast has really just proved that the laws are archaic in all directions.

Pretty much. By the current logic, if a fourteen year old boy has sex with a thirteen year old girl, there is NOTHING stopping a judge from handing the boy a life sentence.
