Ah.. so you are going to pretend that tokenism in the name of diversity never happens and that it is mutually exclusive from actual bigotry.

There is nothing wrong with having standards and wanting to be attracted to someone. The issue is that many women have a very overinflated sense of their social market value based on social media, dating apps and our culture so the man they feel entitled to is unrealistic. It's like someone in the market for a new home. Social media and their friends all tell them they DESERVE that 700,000 mini-mansion when they can reasonably afford a 350,000 house. They picture themselves in that new house, dr…

I get what the OP is saying here. It's gaslighting because the advice is simplistic, trite and does not reflect the current dating market. Of course you should treat women like people, but pretending that is all you need to do to be successful is ridiculous.

How do you infer that I think playing video games and checking out makes men attractive? It's an observation about the current culture, nowhere did I say that it makes men more attractive for it. You are missing the bigger picture. The problem isn't about women refusing to date men who don't measure up, the problem is that social media, online dating and our culture of telling women they are perfect just as they are and can do no wrong has created a sense of narcissistic entitlement in many wome…

Well, it seems our birth rates are declining as they are in other first world countries and that slack will likely be taken up by immigrants. Ever wonder why we have a wide open southern border and little actual resolve to enforce it? I think the powers that be see the writing on the wall. I think that the people who do want stable families will start looking either to these older cultures as inspiration or actually marry into them and join them. I believe demographic studies say the US will bec…

I agree. I don't think anyone is suggesting women should try and force themselves to date men they aren't attracted to. The problem is that many women have higher and higher standards and there are only so many men who meet them for all the women that want those guys. So if a woman is able to find one, the same logic applies in reverse.... he then has to be physically attracted to her!

The elephant in the room here that people aren't willing to notice is to ask why women have such high standards that few men can meet. You hit on it by mentioning dating apps and social media but we can also add the fact that our current society tells women they can't do anything wrong and should apologize for nothing. Every woman is a queen or a goddess, obese women are beautiful and on it goes. Now... very few women will be introspective and see themselves and their unrealistic expectations or…

You questioned why I asserted that women gain power from objectifying themselves and I listed several reasons why they do. Do you deny any of them? For what reason?

Those were a few examples off the top of my head. Here are more... How did Kim K BECOME a celebrity in the first place? It was from objectifying herself, it wasn't just the sex tape. That was the spark and she sustained it and grew it by objectifying herself as a career choice. Onlyfans main revenue stream and business model is women objectifying themselves and many of them do very, very well. So do many social medial influencers. Sexualization of women is often used as a marketing tool in adver…

Kim Kardashian is a BILLIONAIRE for objectifying herself. Many young women make bank on Onlyfans and Instagram for objectifying themselves. Attractive women get free entry to nightclubs, free drinks, free dinners from men who want to get with them. I could go on all day. There is even a phrase for it in the common lexicon.. sex sells.

Women do it because it gets them instant attention and power. Then they want the best of both worlds and don't want to own the negative appearance of getting instant attention and power just from showing off your goodies in a provocative way. This isn't some conspiracy by 'the patriarchy' to sexually objectify women, our cultural preoccupation with female sexuality is driven in large part by women who like the instant attention and power it gives them.

Part of the problem is that we currently live in a culture that tells women they can't do anything wrong. Hence you get the sheer yoga pants, butt crack showing low cut jeans, exercise shorts that may as well be underwear at the gym, wearing flip flops to work, pajamas in public (though men do this too) and on and on. like the first comments said... you aren't allowed to say that.. and that's why it is an issue. I think the only people who do say something are the parents of teen girls and even …

I think they have to frame these men as unwanted losers so that this does not become a popular trend and the men they are interested in start thinking about it. Which then is lowering the ever shrinking pool of high value men that almost all women feel entitled to.

You are believing an old stereotype that these women are living in fishing villages and dont' speak English. Many of them speak multiple languages and are better educated and conversant on a wide range of topics (History, culture, philosophy. etc) than the avg. Western woman

Why should I speak for black men? Why should I believe in the 'stats' that you have not produced, especially when stats can be manipulated to mean anything anyone wants them to mean. Why is your dad's situation representative of all interracial dating? For that matter how in the hell is that different form swiping left or right on photos in Online Dating that much of our culture does now? Let me ask you a question. Do you think the average black man in America has this list of negative character…

I notice there wasn’t an answer to my question in your response though. I'm not a black man and your question seems a bit racist, assuming the avg, black man has all of these negative traits you listed that are apparently backed up with "statistics". Also, 'mail-order bride' is yet another slur. If you can't engage in a conversation in good faith, why bother.

Who cares what they think? You found a solution that evades many men. Here is the real 'pill' to swallow... For modern men, the situation looks pretty grim on the dating front *Until* you open your eyes and realize there is a whole WORLD out there with more feminine, attractive , not-overweight, women who you have a real chance with. It's because we have 'pretend equality' in our society. It's basically LARPing In addition to the points you raised, you can add that men still have to register for the draft despite that fact that women serve in the military (even though their physical standards have had accomodations made for them) Men are still expected, without question to be the defacto bodyguard in the relationship,if the couple is in danger. As you say, sometimes women step up but there is no burden to do so. So many wome…

It's all in the context. You are citing stats about men be violent because you seem to hate men and want to prove they are shitty people. (while conveniently forgetting that most victims of violence are men also) It's really no different than the sort of hate speech that red pillers use to try and assert that the female gender is lesser. I don't think one gender is better or worse than the other. I think it comes down to people on an individual basis.

If a guy wrote the same post you just did with the genders reversed. He's be ridiculed and/or banned so fast it would make your head spin. Have you considered that? Also, if the common denominator in your relationships is men treating you badly, maybe instead of blaming half the human population, you might do a little self introspection and figure out why you are attracting such poor people.

I think alot of guys are doing the same thing for different reasons (opting out and not actively seeking someone but being open to it if it happens). Kinda sad because I think there is value in finding someone to share your life with and letting a relationship grow long term. I also agree that the internet distorts things. I notice that when I take a break from media consumption and just go outside and engage with people IRL. Most people are not as extreme, angry or combative as you see online a…

Well, I have seen plenty of stories of men who are avg to above average and have trouble even attracting their equivalent in western society. I even know a few in my life. Meanwhile it seems to be a very real thing where most women feel entitled to 8-10s in guys no matter where they are on the scale and refuse to "settle". How in the world is that sustainable or even possible?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 02:58 PM

boomer misogyny of "womens roles" and "women should be submissive" Where have I said that? I'm also not a boomer and I realize that's a trendy and lazy insult to dismiss older people
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 12:47 PM

Because I don't identify with either group nor does my intended audience for my post. Also, in my opinion the term "incel" has largely become dismissive shaming language for someone as a lazy way to shut down a conversation. It's just as bad as calling a woman a slut. You are just shaming someone by associating their worth with their sexual activity or lack of such and it's wrong no matter who it's directed at.

Point taken. I've seen some disgusting comments online from men about why they like foreign women While we are being honest here though, there is also a stigma because it threatens some women's perceived sense of power in the dating market. When I first had that job in my 20s where there were a good number of Asian women who were getting attention from guys, I overheard a local woman say something about them "stealing our men". It's also the same as age-gap relationships. Older women are threate…

American women are much more entitled because currently (again from what I can tell as an outsider who has not dated in years) they dominate and control the dating market as a result of social media, our instant gratification consumerism mindset culture and the dynamics of online dating apps. Would American men be the same way if the shoe were on the other foot. Sure! I think it's just human nature. I mean look at how toxic much of the pick up community and the advice they share can be. What's stopping me? I already did this 25 years ago. I am sharing my experience for other guys just because as an observer, it seems like many men are very frustrated. Well, obviously Chinese women do not constitute all Asian women. As for the divorce rates, I don't know where you get your data but it seems to be wrong... The kind of guy who jumps through immigration hoops to go find a woman in the East is more often the kind of guy who is simply not successful with women here You say that as if women here are some sort of international gold-standard of women and failing to attract them, which more and more men are doing, is some sort of personal character failing on their part. Yeah, the window may be closing. I think the only way it ever changes is once enough women realize being alone and single because they never "settled" is not all it's cracked up to be, especially as they get older. ... then they tell they younger generations of women not to make the same mistakes. One can hope. I mean it's basically mathematically impossible for there be enough HV men for all the women who feel entitled to them.

they think that she’ll assimilate and become a feminist. They don't though. Not to the degree that women raised here do. They grew up and in many cases are still involved in a very different culture. I think society tries to shame people into not doing this so there is a stigma associated with it. I felt the same way until I simply met different cultures. I suppose men who travel a lot to other countries notice the same sorts of things.
