0	Why men don't marry In the US your tax brackets are different. Too lazy to research exact numbers but you get to keep more of your money if you’re married. Presumably because you’re working/paying for two, but the economies of scale work out in your favor. Ie. You’re not paying for two places to live, your grocery bill is probably similar with two people vs 1 etc etc. Add to that that most women take in income as well and now you’re really getting some benefits.
