If she refuses, she goes to jail. This is the same in every state. Refusal to obey a judges ruling is contempt, I believe. She would have to PROVE child abuses. Baseless claims mean nothing in court. How long it takes depends on your district. You don't need a lawyer unless she hires one. There's pro bono lawyers for cases like these. I represented myself and won. I just simply explained my problem to the judge. Who gets their kids a couple hours??? You get your kids to whatever you both agree on. Usually it's every other weekend and you split the holidays. You sign birth certificate, nobody can keep you from visitation rights. Not even the mother. It's a pain in the ass to take her court but the judge will threaten her with jailtime if she does it again.
