It's insurance on the rental car. If you have full coverage on your vehicle, the coverage is usually transferrable to the rental, so there's no need to buy the additional insurance.

Amazing how they're all at least six feet tall. What are the odds?!

I also tried but I can't seem to figure out how.

I don't understand it, either. Once, many moons ago, I went on a date with a guy who proudly shared that he never brushes his teeth and has never had a cavity. Ugh....good for you?

No one is qualified to date me. Thank you, this is always one of those questions that takes me a little too long to come up with a snappy comeback. This is perfect.

Yep, my most recent ex was a textbook hobosexual, although I didn't realize it right away. Unfortunately, he's not the only LVM I've been with who bled me dry financially. The way they gaslight is something special. As soon as I'd draw the line and stop the cycle of financial abuse, they'd start saying all I care about is money, I'm money-obsessed, etc.

Something just dawned on me: Any man who's ever told me I need to lose weight was a straight-up blob.

Oh, how I wish I've always had the self-worth and wisdom to know this.

Yep, offhand I can think of at least two scrotes I unfortunately dated who didn't wash their asses.

I'm ashamed to say I used to be "A" in this scenario. One thing I really like about this sub, it forces me to take a long, hard look at myself and how I used to be. It's also a reminder of how far I've come.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I was walking to work with my headphones on, some guy started walking towards me making a lighter-flicking motion (I guess he wanted a light). I wasn't even smoking at the time. Anyway, I tried to brush past him, he tried to block me, I shouted "EXCUSE ME" at the top of my lungs, which got the attention of patrons outside the coffee shop I was passing. He let me pass but then followed me for a few steps screaming something but thankfully didn't try thr…

Yes, I was angry at myself for a very long time but as others have said, at some point you just need to forgive yourself and appreciate the wisdom these experiences have bestowed upon you. I've been blissfully single for almost three years after a string of shitty relationships with LVM. I know myself so much better than I ever have. I'm unapologetic about my standards and boundaries. No plans to ever date again but if I do, it's going to look far different from how it has up to this point. I'm …

The same thing happened to me! Mutual friends didn't believe me though, so I had to wash my hands of the whole lot of 'em. Maybe they figured it out at some point, or maybe it was just a case of birds of a feather.

Yep, right here. Two years ago, I finally liberated myself from my last (and FINAL) relationship with a NVM (and some LV friends who turned out to be crabs in the bucket) and my self-esteem and feeling of inner peace have never been stronger. I have zero intention of ever dating again. I remember when I was newly single, I downloaded a couple of dating apps just to see what's out there. I don't have to say how that turned out! I deleted the apps and not long after, found this sub. I've learned t…

Maybe since they/we can't get haircuts right now (well, we can in my area but we're in an uptick, so not a great idea), they can't be arsed to deal with the facial hair, either. Beards suit some men but they need to be kept clean and trimmed, for sure.

I've been getting this my entire life. I realize it has a little to do with my resting bitch face and how I carry myself, but one of my favourite quotes from this sub is "I'm not intimidating, you're just intimidated" (or something like that).

Me too, I'm so glad that phase is over! I used to be such a 'cool girl' and I cringe when I look back at the disrespect I put up with. The guys didn't treat me any better, they just felt more comfortable showing their proverbial asses in front of me.

I used to wonder how I always managed to end up with guys who'd let their hygiene slip over time. I'm so glad I know all about LVM now.

Yep, full-out tears and theatrics and as soon as they get the slightest inkling you're starting to cave, it's amazing how fast they're able to switch it off.

This is so true, I've been there more than once. Not only with massages, but anything my LV exes didn't want to do, they'd purposly do it badly, from massages to washing dishes. Man, where was this sub 20 years ago?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/05/20 11:52 AM

Yep, I made that decision a couple of years ago and haven't changed my mind. After a string of toxic relationships with LVM, I decided it's time to just stop and become the person who makes me happy and work on myself so I can break the pickmeisha cycle for good.

I couldn't agree more. Some people get sucked into so much online drama in general when all you need to do to free yourself from it is block. Shut that shit down. I live by the rule that being in my life is a privilege, not a right.

I used to do this, but it's unhealthy and can become a bad habit. I've come to learn it's called 'the past' for a reason and it's best left where it belongs.

I also struggle with that sometimes, but I try to focus on the wisdom I've gained and knowing I'll never go through any of it again. Better late than never, right?

I don't consider you a homophobe. It doesn't sound as if you hate bi men, they just don't fall into your dating preference. For what it's worth, I agree with you.
