Where I come from it’s basically any women over 25. To be fair they’re usually ‘over the hill’ by then though

I was thinking more of a pyramid scheme, especially when she’s over 40.

Well like you said, there’s no right or wrong, just opinions. Completely agree with your first point about tax money going to big businesses but I’ve never interpreted libertarianism as kicking people when they’re down

I agree to an extent, your politics shouldn’t identify you or the people you associate yourself with. I guess one major aspect of libertarianism is wanting to be left alone (ie no government interference), which does tie in well with MGTOW. But that does contradict some of the points you’ve mentioned, such as free healthcare, universal income etc, which are more socialised aspects of society, hence why I would think most people on this sub aren’t left-leaning (granted that doesn’t necessarily ma…

I think a lot of MGTOW philosophy (i.e. self-reliance) goes against modern left-wing politics of victimhood, feminism and socialism. That of course doesn’t mean you have to support Trump but I would think the political stances of most people on this sub lean to the right.

Being from the UK I like the UK-oriented ones like FireUK and UKpersonalfinance. Povertyfinance is very hit and miss, sometimes they’re funny memes and other times they’re antiwork reposts or complaining about the 1%. I just sub to any I can find and hope that good posts come up, to be honest I skip most of the stuff I see.

I’m subscribed to a lot of personal finance subreddits so when antiwork popped up I thought it would be related to FIRE. God was I wrong

I mean you see women posting all the time that they don’t like their boyfriends being red pilled/MGTOW sympathisers. The difference is that MGTOW is usually correct and FDS is a load of bullshit. Men don’t contribute anything to relationships? GTFO

Do you think a part of the issue is that the 8/10 guys drop their standards for a quick fuck? If these guys kept their standards high then the 5/10 women wouldn’t be so entitled because they would only get approached by average men.

I’d much rather be a MGTOW man. Everything a man has is earned, whereas everything a beautiful woman has is given. My relationships are meaningful, theirs superficial. My life has much more meaning and substance and this lasts until the day I die, whereas beauty fades.

My best friend is a cool guy. Doesn’t mean I will invite him to a work’s dinner and it definitely doesn’t mean I expect my colleagues to pay for him. He’s a stranger to them, why is it any different if it’s your wife?

Yeah I agree with this. Call me a misogynist but over the phone I always seem to trust and get along with straight talking men more than women.

Reading, movies and ‘adventures’ that I’ll probably end up paying for? Oh boy she sounds like so much fun, where do I sign up?

Why on earth would you start a bio like that?

It’s more to do with the whole “a real man does/is X and Y” when one of the main philosophies of MGTOW is “a real man does what the fuck he wants”

She’s 33 and her eldest child is out of state. So either that kid is now an adult (very young pregnancy - red flag) or she abandoned the kid or the dad got full custody. All three options lead to the same outcome - she’s trash.

$6 would be the cheapest breakup I’ve ever had so I wouldn’t complain

I completely agree. If you listen to him with a MGTOW lens it still makes perfect sense most of the time. Such as “once you’re married her debt is your responsibility, both legally and morally”. Well good, I won’t get married then.

I mean, the whole “gave up on trying to get women” isn’t really an insult. The rest is just buzzwords.

I don’t care what your political beliefs are. Some of my best friends are left leaning and we have civil discussions. But if you’re going to shove your ideologies in my face, whether I agree with them or not, then you can get fucked.

I had an argument with a friend about this. He said “circumcision is nowhere near as bad as FGM”. I’m not a doctor and I’ve seen contradicting evidence for what he said, but wrong is wrong. It doesn’t matter if I get stabbed in the arm or the chest, somebody still attacked me.

I mean technically it’s his car because she couldn’t get the finance in her name, but he doesn’t even have a licence to drive it. Maybe I’m underestimating him and he’s working a minimum wage job for a few years to drop down his average earnings, then once the divorce happens he’ll go back to excelling in his career?! A man can dream.

I mean I’m a cat person but largely because they’re low maintenance, ie you don’t need to stay at home to look after them. You’re right though, I’ll keep a foot in the door for when the inevitable happens.

I used to play this fun game whenever my ex played this shit on me. So for context I’m a pretty big guy and my ex used to hit me in public fairly regularly in a “stop it, you’re embarrassing” kinda way. So to be a total dick I started to shout “can you please stop hitting me” every time she did it. Unsurprisingly nobody gave a shit (imagine if roles were reversed?) but she used to get really embarrassed so I found it funny.

She’s probably doing it to stay relevant. Somebody on this sub raised this point the other day but if she really wanted to put it all behind her she would stop using her stage name and fade out into obscurity, which many actors (both in the traditional and porn sense) manage to do.

Don’t get me started... I think it was linked to the amount of crap she watched (reality TV, YouTube vloggers who always seem to cry). Almost like a ‘monkey see, monkey do’ mentality.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I bawl my eyes out when a pet dies. They’re family.

Im so happy for you! I always like to remember that 80% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and 60% have less than $1000 in savings. You’re well above average already dude, you’ll be retiring a millionaire even if you only invest a fraction of what you’re putting away at the moment.
