1	Why do high-profile campus rape stories keep falling apart? Saying something that was later demonstrated to be untrue is different then lieing. Example: You witness a traffic accident and a week later are asked to recall it to the best of your ability. In your recollection you a pretty certain you remember the at fault person was talking on their cell phone. Later it is determined from video evidence that the person was not talking on their cell phone. You were not lieing about your recollection. There are plenty of cases where there is no way to determine if a rape actually happened.
