Just be very careful brotha - we have a saying in the US, “don’t stick your d*** in crazy” Hang in there, be patient!

I believe you man, been to India it’s a whole other world of chaos over there. Stay strong

Good advice thanks. She’s from Chile and has a great family and reputation so so far so good, but good points.

Far from an incel, I have tons of options and am dating a great conservative girl. I’m just saying my experience on the apps has largely been hoes = sleeping with mad people for 3-4 months before commitment. Is what it is.

I mean I’m dating one she’s pretty great. Just better odds than the average chica nowadays

Glad it’s been better for you. Are you also in NYC? I find location to be very important to this dynamic. (Some additional context, I found a great conservative girl I’m dating now, I just had a large hot sake and thought I’d blurt out some past issues).

Ah I see. Yeah we just disagree about the importance of subjective vs objective morality, I think. In my view it’s no good to sleep around (increases STDs, unwanted pregnancies, higher likelihood of divorce, etc). I’m not judging those people that’s not my role, it’s just a personal disqualifier for me in a potential wife.

How does my thought that morality matters in women lead to you believing that I think relationships are unidimensional? Confused by that line of logic. Anyway appreciate the thoughts.

Her morals are part of what make her marriage material (ie, not sleeping around). Fortunately South America isn’t as infected with the ho virus as the US.

I’m 35 and would like to raise a family at some point. The answer for me is South American traditional girl that understands morals. I get nothing out of playing the same game.

I definitely knew she was a significant risk - to be totally open, I was blinded by how gorgeous she was and hopelessly hopeful she would change. That hope was futile, as she’s a party girl. Lesson learned on my end, and hopefully a cautionary tale for anyone considering trying to turn a party girl into a house wife.

Agree with you fellas, I was blinded by the beauty never been with a girl as hot. Fortunately because I knew it was a dice roll didn’t hurt too bad in the end. Lessons learned

Dude I don’t feel bad for me either, it was a dice roll on a dime and didn’t pan out. I’m not too upset haha just a cautionary tale for other folks.

Update: Thanks everyone for the support. All the divorce docs are signed up uncontested. Once the judge signs off (lawyer says judge 100% will), I will have gotten through this losing only 5% of my assets inclusive of alimony payments. Also dating a smokeshow, work is going smoothly, and I’m feeling physically, spiritually, and mentally well. Thanks again all, filled with gratitude at the moment, appreciate your words during one of my darkest times.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. While I'm confident in the postnup (which includes language about her state of mind, signed off by her lawyer), I'll look into the private investigator route - I wouldn't want anything to jeopardize the current course. I'm working on getting her out of the house - I offered her a free truck and laborers for a moving day, trying to keep things amicable. She's aware that if she vandalizes the property or otherwise disrupts the closing, that money is coming out o…

Thank you very much for your kind words. I certainly appreciate your note on salary as well - I hope I didn’t make 50k sound insignificant, it’s just that we live in an extremely high cost of living area and she runs up credit cards like mad so what she brings in goes out in a heartbeat. Also feel free to message me and I’d be happy to discuss some ideas to help increase your income by aligning your path with your skill set, to the extent I am able to assist in that regard. Grateful for you and …

Thank you, I completely agree with you as well. I’m sorry you had to go through similar hell. I already see the light at the end of the tunnel. Moving out was key.

I'll check that out, thanks. I do follow him and some other guys on YouTube, they've been a great help, especially w/r/t the evo psych-based analysis they apply to practical situations.

Thank you, appreciate your insight here. I'm not sure how women get here generally - seems to be a mental health problem well beyond my comprehension. Thanks for looking out for my safety. She has no weapons with her - I moved my gun with me to the new house I'm renting. Very close friends of ours live in the upstairs unit of my house that she is in right now and are looking after her, but they are moving out (because of the upcoming sale) in less than a week. At that point I think I'll loop in …

Thank you for your thoughtful and encouraging reply. I agree with everything you're saying. I'll do my best to live as healthily as I can and focus on the important things you mentioned in your last para. Will check in here as well. Glad this subreddit exists. Thanks again.
