Oh what a bullshit manipulation tactic on her part. Good for you for not giving in to her demands. I would have responded with "Chivalry is dead because equality killed it"
Remember when you had to follow rules as a kid? You obviously didn't read the article: Johnson, who is black, had a cover over his hair, but the referee Alan Maloney, who is white, said that wouldn’t do. Wrestlers are allowed to wear legal hair covers during matches, according to wrestling rules set by the National Federation of State High School Associations, NJ.com reports. If a wrestler’s hair in its natural state extends below the earlobe on the sides or touches the top of a normal shirt, it…
“This was a very difficult decision for Nikki, and a sad day for her and her family,” O’Neill said later. “She will now begin the process of healing and rehabilitation as she awaits her final sentence. The way this statement is worded it makes it seem like she's a victim.
Riiight, even when a man has hit rock bottom, and no one cares and he sees no way out of his suffering other than death he's still a selfish asshole. Get the fuck out.
In fifteen to twenty years these women will be the authors of articles in which they bitch and moan that they're still single in their forties because their standards for a partner are ridiculous.
Some of us might wanna invest in companies that make boxed wine and xanax as a boom in the demand for such products seems likely in the next decade. Also cat food companies.
I’ll always offer to split on the first date but I won’t object much if I’m rebuffed – especially if I wasn’t the one to initiate the date in the first place. But then you'll hold it against him if he accepts your offer. How mature.
I think if you want to go dutch on a date you need to be upfront about so that the other person knows what to expect and can provide dinner venue input and choose their meal accordingly. It's kind of rude to spring it on them when the check arrives.
To the people freaking out over female circumcision: Get over it. They won't, because they shouldn't, and neither should opponents of male circumcision.
Ah OK I had the right idea about the word. I didn't know it's proper pronunciation. I didn't realise it wasn't also used in America in the same sense. Yeah I've never used it or heard anyone else use it. All countries have their own unique slang though.
I think "row" is a British term for argument or. Anger. So the couple got into a fight before bed, the wife went to bed angry and the husband ended up sleeping and dying on the couch.
In fairness, she makes some good points - women's propensity to pair bond has been dismissed by feminists, which is incredibly detrimental to society. Perhaps, but I don't think there's anything wrong with women seeking flings. I thought the NYT article was fairly balanced because the author didn't demonize the guy for not wanting to commit.
Yeah. There's this whole thing about how if a woman commits suicide she's more likely to consider how she'll be found (because women are encouraged to think about others a lot more growing up), and so is more likely to choose a "tidier" method that is more likely to fail or be saved from(pills, slitting wrists in the bathtub) while men are more likely to go for a method that's more effective but messier or more traumatic for someone to discover, like guns or hanging, because they're not thinking…
I think we can all agree that women like sex just as much as men. I know, women are pretty picky when choosing a sexual partner, but they're more nowadays to engage in casual sex. What a lot women don't seem to realize, is that as they become more open to casual sex, marriage becomes less appealing to men.
The increased risk of HIV transmission among gay and bisexual men (as well as the incredibly low transmission among lesbians and bisexual women) has everything to do with the type of sex being had (e.g. anal vs. cunnilingus), and nothing to do with the gender of the infected. She also doesn't seem to realize that gay men may not even engage in risky sexual behavior.
What I'm wondering is why didn't she ask a friend of hers for help installing the AC. This is assuming she has friends, though. She might be an insufferable douche, which being 47, single, and viewing most guys on Tindr as losers seems to suggest.
This is the state of affairs regarding how society reacts to violence against women versus men: A movie poster portrays a fictitious super heroine being strangled(in the land of make believe) and people flip out. A woman cuts off her husband's penis because he wanted a divorce. The act of violence, which didn't occur in the land of make believe, is met with cheers and laughter
"There is no context in the ad, just a woman getting strangled." ....because the femosphere only really gives a shit about portrayals of women getting hurt in movies, not men getting hurt in movies, and decided to leverage that for gain ... It's worse than that, the femosphere cares more about women getting hurt in movies than men getting hurt in real life.
