This is a fair question. However, M.G.T.O.W. is not a hive mind. Every individual man yearns for different things when compared to his neighbor. Nevertheless, for most of us, there is absolutely nothing that may convince us to change. Men here have a variety of reasons that turned them towards this stance on relationships, and their end conclusion is, almost always, generally the same. I did say that I would not be discussing the motives behind their actions. It is a topic of discussion on its own, although several reasons come to my mind from the top of my head. For example, insecure men trying to feel good about themselves by putting other men down, or women getting worried about losing their access to resources.
