I think one of the reasons 5x5 is touted so much is because it's great for people who are beginners to lifting. Like I said, I've had a couple girlfriends, one of them has even gone on to have a short modeling career. So I've had some experience on that. Also, I moved out at age 18, and I see my parents maybe once a month, twice if I'm lucky..so this isn't the helicopter parents that everybody seems to get the impression of.
