I tried socializing and meeting everyone as much as possible. That didn't work.

Women talk to me. I go on dates. I get right swipes. It just NEVER works out in the long run.

I don't think women are naturally stupid. If none of them want a relationship with a guy, he might not be so great of a partner for them. I've been told that I would make a terrible boyfriend, and I don't know if the woman who said that was wrong. I know I make a terrible pet owner and perhaps even a terrible son. I'm not exactly loving/caring. I don't exactly make people feel good inside.

Life absolutely does suck for everyone. You just don't see the suck in a lot of other people's lives, but it's there.

I was making $150,000 a year and doing weights 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week for years. It didn't help. I worked on the right stuff. It's not autism. It's something different.

"First i think whoever assessed you for autism might have been incompetent" I have met multiple autistic people and I never felt like their symptoms overlapped with my symptoms. They talked at length without making eye contact and I never had trouble with eye contact. They were introverted and I was extroverted. They didn't know when to stop speaking and I knew when it was my turn to speak. They had deep random interests like trains and I did not. I never had anything in common in terms of sympt…

Because it's not feminism's fault that I have no real friendships beyond mere acquaintanceships, that I don't feel sad when blood relatives I know die, and that I have no real relationship with my pet (I left him with my parents when I moved out and I never think about him, worry about him, visit him, or miss him). That's all a sort of psychological type issue with me that makes me unable to have relationships. And that's not feminism's fault. I think of it like me having a disability. And the D…

Anyway, the point is that dating is not a number's game for certain people. For certain people, the probability for them is absolutely zero, no matter how many people they meet.

There are multiple symptoms of autism and NONE of them are struggling to lie. Struggling to tell that someone means for you to look when they point at something with their finger? Sure, that's autistic. Struggling with eye contact? Sure, that's autistic. But struggling to lie is not one of the symptoms of autism. I am tired of people not knowing what autism is.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 03:06 AM

Why are you talking about me in the third person? Also, I don't have autism. I have never had any issue getting that people want me to look somewhere when they point. I have always been socially outgoing and extroverted. I like meeting and talking to strangers. I have never had any issues with eye contact. I don't have niche obsessive repetitive hobbies (excluding things related to my profession). I have social issues, but I don't have autism.

I NOW HAVE MY OWN APARTMENT. ALSO, MY DISABILITY PAYMENTS ARE A LITTLE OVER $3,000 A MONTH TAX FREE. I AM NOT POOR. I do have psychiatric problems, though, but I know people with the same psychiatric problems who are married. It's a mental/psychological/personality/social/neurodivergence type thing.

I WAS ON NINE DATING APPS FOR OVER 10 YEARS! I WAS GOING TO MEETUP AND EVENTBRITE EVENTS ALMOST EVERY AFTERNOON FOR LIKE 6 YEARS! I MET MAYBE 10,000 WOMEN IN MY LIFE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A GIRLFRIEND DESPITE TRYING. I MADE GETTING A GIRLFRIEND MY MAIN GOAL FOR MOST OF MY LIFE. I TRIED VERY, VERY HARD, MANY MANY TIMES. THE LIKELIHOOD OF ME GETTING A GIRLFRIEND IS ZERO!!!!! HOW HARD I TRY OR HOW MANY ATTEMPTS I MAKE DOESN'T MATTER!!!!!

For some people, dating is a number's game where the probabilistic number is absolutely zero, regardless of how many people they meet. See: https://np.reddit.com/r/TrueUnpopularOpinion/s/f9jkcN5QjP Edit: That Reddit post was by me, I am the OP (Original Poster).

I'm 100% sure it's a personality thing of mine, not a looks thing. I also have severe mental problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 05:17 AM

Personality, friendship, bonds, connection, relationship, love, care, empathy, and other non-looks based stuff matters. Like I'm sort of neurodivergent and/or I have a personality disorder and I can't get any woman, even a 1 out of 10 in looks, because of those things I mentioned, and women have told me that I'm like a 6 out of 10 in looks.

This song comes to mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n39RzgVNP8 p.s. Guys don't think straight women want to eat pussy like some sort of stone butch c*rpet-m*nching lesbian, but like we noticed based on statistics that some straight women touch themselves to lesbian porn and imagine being the girl on bottom ("pillow princess"). I'm a straight man and I never watch gay male porn and imagine that some dude is sucking my dick (eww 🤢).

I consider myself a sort of incel/ForeverAlone man (learning more towards r/ForeverAlone because people usually equate "incel" with misogyny). I'm not fixable. I tried everything. Five neurologists, eight psychiatrists, six psychologists, 30 different psychiatric drugs in my life. It's a personality thing, like what I say or what I write. I tried to fix it but couldn't, it didn't work. There is no hope.

I think personality matters a lot. More than face, even. There are women who chose a guy with an ugly face but good personality.

Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 06:03 PM

Yeah, I think what you are describing is more common for women than for men. Women tend to be closer to other women than men are to other men. And yeah, women tend to be more into the whole "Look at me, *photo*" thing. Like me personally, I don't even keep my old photos. Google started charging for cloud photo storage space and I was like "I would rather not keep my photos than spend a few bucks every month on cloud storage".
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 06:02 PM

A lot of guys who are big and super tall have a disbalance of human growth hormone that makes their face look ugly. At least that's what I think. But yeah, you're not the only person who noticed that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 05:52 PM

Yeah, I did get success with that photo. Not as much success as Mr. James "MyTiesAreSkinny" #1 straight male on OkCupid, but I've gotten lots of matches and had sex. Note that I tried to have other good, interesting, or engaging photos on there too.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 05:39 PM

His whole profile was good overall. Like it was just green flag after green flag after green flag. But yeah, the VAST majority of guys who are 5'8" or 5'9" can't attract women online the way this guy could. Still, he was not tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 05:33 PM
5

u/Windmill_flowers Yeah, a guy can't one day decide "I am going to make a dating profile" and then grab a cellphone camera and take a bunch of selfies and call that a good dating profile. He basically has to build up a good collection of good, engaging, sociable, and interesting photos over years and use a mix of them. What u/preferablyno said.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 05:09 PM
2

Oh yeah, that OkCupid profile thing was from way, way back. I don't even remember the exact date. It was from back when OkCupid was a desktop website and not a mobile app. The website had a big long profile section where you could answer multiple questions about yourself and write paragraphs of text. Nowadays the text section is much shorter than it used to be and much more focus is on the photos.

Creating a good male dating profile is a lot of work. You can't just stand in front of a bathroom mirror and take a bunch of selfies. See my comments (using "np" mode because the automod requires it): https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/kRgJ5AGDI8 https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/mv7Ia6HzB5 👆🏼The dude put a MASSIVE amount of work into his profile. His whole life basically builds up his profile.

It's been many years since I've seen his profile on OkCupid. See my second comment (using "np" mode because the automod requires it): https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/XsK6narRZW He had a professional headshot photographer. They probably took like 1000 photos and did little touch-ups. He's not a professional model. Also, that website doesn't share the rest of his profile. It's green flags all the way through.

Straight male is a touch more masculine than gay male. Also see my second comment (using "np" mode because the automod requires it): https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/UwMWcBWFOi But yeah, these OkCupid profiles are from way back, way before a cellphone camera could take such sharp photos. They had professional photos taken, probably with some little touch-ups by the professional headshot photographer.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 04:33 PM

You see how his face is super sharp but the background isn't? He hired a professional headshot photographer to take that photo, his main photo on online dating apps. If he used a regular cellphone camera the whole photo would be equally sharp. I mean recently it's possible to use AI to create a background blurring effect but that OkCupid profile was from before that existed. Anyway, a professional headshot photographer will take like 1000 photos of him in like 10 different outfits and like 20 di…

I am blue-pilled and I can talk about things I've seen that have made me that way. I remember seeing an article of the top OkCupid profile in each demographic (straight female, straight male, gay female, and gay male). The top straight male OkCupid profile was actually not tall, his height on his profile was like 5'8" or 5'9". He was also not clean-shaven, but he had short, well-groomed facial hair. I remember his photos. The first photo was him relaxed, chilling in a well-fitting dark blue suit…

To be fair, I'm on long-term disability, so even if I made my career my goal it wouldn't have worked out. Correlation does not mean causation. Observations do not prove cause and effect. This post I wrote in the past comes to mind: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1GTmKHdWGz/ I am not a virgin, but I believe if I didn't make dating my #1 priority in life, I would be.

"I'm sure you are since I don't think most 13 year olds want kids and marriage outside of the abstract someday probably concept." At age 13 I read a RomCom anime/manga where in the very end the main character gets married and ever since then I was like "I want that". Like I see kids or parents with kids and I think "I want that, but not their kids or adopted kids, my own biological kids." "And I do think must absolutely suck to want something and not get it despite trying your best." Yes. "I don…

Well at age 13 I figured being a male virgin was unattractive and I wanted to be attractive and good in bed for my future wife, so I first made it my first goal to lose my male virginity. That happened in my first year of university. Once that goal was achieved, I started looking for a long-term girlfriend who I hoped would become my wife. Nobody who ever really got to know me was ever interested.

"Most people date and settle down if they want to. Most will have kids if they want to." I wanted marriage and kids since I was 13. I started trying to get a wife/fiancée/girlfriend since I was 13. I am 32 now, and despite 19 years of trying, it has never happened. Not even an official girlfriend, ever. I hate being part of that "outlier" group. People like me exist.

War isn't a choice. It happens whether people deliberately choose it or not. Take the civil war, for example. One side said "No slavery", another side said "Yes slavery". That tension was there even in the founding fathers, with some founding fathers freeing their slaves at certain points and others not freeing their slaves. That war was destined to happen regardless of whether they deliberately chose war or not. It was not a matter of "if" but "when".

I don't think so. I think I'm just sorta more superficially charming and less autistic seeming on the internet than in real life. Also, if you're persistent, you can meet a lot more people on the internet than you can in real life.

I have never met someone in real life initially and then went on to have sex with them. Every person I have ever had sex with, we first met online, like on a dating app, and then we had sex in real life. If online didn't exist, my number of past sexual partners would be zero.

"The loneliness epidemic is a culmination of men who’ve given up on dating due to women not reciprocating any effort." "being able to be committed to by a man with a job and with a higher standard of living compared to you staying with your parents" I was a software engineer for Amazon for 2 years making $150,000 a year. During those two years I had zero sex. After that I had a two year period where I was on US government disability benefits. During that two year period I had two different sexual partners. Working as a software engineer for Amazon didn't help me. Shit is not intuitive.

I'm going to pretend that you genuinely don't see it and answer as if that were true. Let's go back to what I wrote in prior comments... This is a woman wearing makeup: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cpi5CawpVbd/ 👆 When I look at her artificially red lips (👄), I think about what it would be like if they were on my penis. /r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:11 AM

The more natural looking woman looks more relationship material, like best friend and wife material. The more artificial looking woman looks more hot/sexual. Even if a woman is not wearing lingerie, bright red lipstick (like what the first woman was wearing) looks more sexual than natural lips. But yeah, the comparison would be better and more fair if they were wearing the same clothes.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 10:56 AM

Natural can be hot/sexy. But when you add things like red lipstick, eye makeup, etc. the level of hot/sexy goes up. Here, let me give you an example. This is a woman wearing makeup (Instagram link): https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cpi5CawpVbd/ This is a natural woman (Facebook link): https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16GY1t4Dd4/ Which one looks more hot/sexy? I don't get what that song has to do with this. At one point I wanted to rule the world. I spent thousands of dollars on political Facebook ads and got only one small donation, and it was from my mom. But yeah, I've given up all such high aspirations. I've seen women say they were traumatized by all the horny guys swiping through hot profiles and sending horny, sexual messages to them on dating apps like Tinder. That's not even dating, that's fishing for sexting. But yeah, she said there were a lot of guys on dating apps that were basically that.
