Check out Models by Mark Manson. It’s more purple pilled than strictly blue, but I think it’s a great book and there is a huge focus on women being more than objects of desire.

Part of the difference is that Jerry Seinfeld’s public persona is being an asshole. And during the show, the TV version of Seinfeld was not only that of an asshole, he was a particularly shallow asshole. If you’re interested, there’s a Netflix series called The Movies That Made Us, which is a series of documentaries about popular movies of the 80s and 90s, including Dirty Dancing, Die Hard and home alone. Yes, but the behavior used to be ostracized more. It’s like unmarried couples living together. They always have, but it used to be widely condemned, now it’s non big deal.
