I hope you don't think they fully protect against herpes.

You've already slept with at least 3 girls with herpes (by your own admission), you'll have it soon enough. Then you'll be a disgusting selfish asshole too.

I agree, I always tell them before. Of course, I bet a lot of people don't ask first either. It's the only responsible behavior, even if it seems a bit crass.

Here's a question, do you ask your partners before having sex, or do you just expect them to tell you? The responsibility goes both ways.

You're going overkill on the Valtrex. Any more than 1000mg a day is not shown to help anything. The lysine is arguable, but it doesn't hurt.

You don't actually have any right to not be diseased. Shit happens. You do have the choice not to sleep around though. Three girls told you after the fact, eh? How many do you think didn't tell you at all? Maybe you should be the one to settle down.

Ok, wasn't being global-minded there for a minute. They're quite common in the US, although they've tapered off lately as the patent on Valtrex has run out.

You think there's be so many herpes medication commercials on the air if there wasn't a large target market? It's just a social stigma, people don't talk about it, but it's rather common.

If you've never had cold sores on your lips, then I would say yes. If you have/do, then I would say no, there is some risk. If you have an active cold sore, then definitely stay away.

If you've slept with more than a few women over 21 (not that there's an age requirement), you've probably slept with a girl with herpes. Been tested lately? Not everyone shows symptoms.

I tell them before things get past second base, hasn't really been a deal breaker. A number of times the girl tells me she has it too, and once the girl told me first. I know a lot of people that just don't mention it and avoid sex during outbreaks, which I think is rude, even if the odds are fairly low of passing it. I've also tried herpes dating sites, but there's not enough people on them really.

Above the age of 30, in a nightclub/bar, I'd say it's at least 1 in 4 if not higher.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
