Not really. In practically every job I can think of, work is far more taxing that sitting outside watching a football match. Also, she must have bought the tickets in advance and spent a lot of money on them so even if you’re sick you’d probably still go. Bought the tickets in advance would mean she would have planned to call in sick in advance also. I don’t in the US but where I live it is a legitimate reason to fire someone.

Who do you know she wasn’t actually ill and didn’t feel like she could do her job effectively without compromising it. Well the fact that she went to a stadium is a good evidence she wasn’t sick.

« That’s, uh, a bold claim. Not everything your significant other accomplishes while married should be evenly split, especially if that achievement is a damn company. » I thought that was precisely how marriage works… unless pre-nap conditions.

Just because we can’t quantify it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still strive for the best equality of outcome possible no? I believe we should strive to the best possible equality of oportunities Equality of outcome is simply unrealistic, you would have to get rid of fundamentals freedom and select job and income for everyone.. that is very scary. Let peoples do whatever they want with their live and ensure everybody has as much opportunities as possible is in my opinions a far more desirable outcom…

I think it’s weird because something like privilege or struggle cannot inherently be quantitatively analyzed. Certainly The issues on inequality are real and definitely should be addressed, I would disagree here, particularly because of your first point above

If I were a women I would want the toilet seat up all the time? You want it to be clean, the best way for that is to leave it up always..

I basically had to piece together a 'father' from various people I met or encountered in my studies and professionally. Could it not actually be good?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
