Yeah. I admire you, and your openness

Love being downvoted by people who haven’t ever interacted or cared for a 13 year old who needs help understanding what they’re going through. Literally every downvote gives me strength.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 06:15 AM

You’re peeing. Get over it. The trans youth I deal with aren’t interested in being political objects.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 05:51 AM

Trans women are women. Some women have a penis.

And even if these “high value” men stayed monogamous and didn’t sleep around, the women that this “frees up” doesn’t not mean they’re going to settle for the remaining lesser value men. They (as much as you can say about women as a monolith, which I hate doing) would rather stay single than lower their standards.

I personally find the attitudes of a lot of millennial men (less gen z, but still many) about taking selfies to be interesting. Like I was totally against it for a while. Who would want to look at a selfie on Twitter/Insta of a 32 year old (now 40)? But after a while I did some silly ones and posted them. And got good feedback on them. And then figured out poses, things that got more reactions, etc. If you’re gonna be on OLD you gotta know what looks attractive, since it’s basically first impres…

Yup. I met my partner on Twitter. Been together for years now.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 12:24 AM

Yup. When men start accepting single mothers and divorcees they’ll be a lot happier. You’re only going to grow older, OP. And let’s say you’re in a loving relationship for 7 years or 10 years, and then it just isn’t working out and one of you splits. It’s not even one of your faults. You just didn’t work together. You’re worth loving after. And so is she. Just not with each other.

It’s acceptable to tell a man no always and as many times as you want. Men aren’t owed sex. But yes, they’re free to leave. And then complain when it happens again for the same reasons.

Women love sex. What are you talking about? What they don’t love is having sex with a partner who does no chores, unless asked, complains about childcare, and then has the audacity to complain their partner isn’t immediately turned on when they roll on top of them without foreplay.

Where are the men to support the first guy? Because while some “simps” might indeed be messaging, if you look at posts like that in other subs, women are doing a ton more commenting and offering more support. Men can horny post and upvote and support other men. It doesn’t have to be exclusive.

I would hate receiving a vagina pic as a man. And it has nothing to do with my sex drive. It has to do with consent. I can be horny and want to fuck and want to only receive mutual images I’ve consented to. Literally has nothing to do with arousal.

Not playing devils advocate, but could you (or I) get bored? Sure. Absolutely. But boredom is a symptom, not a disease. But if we’re best friends with our partners, you know what we’re going to do? Communicate. We’re going to have a “come to Jesus” moment and talk about it, rather than let it fester. We love our partners, and yeah, sadly, that might end. But it isn’t because we failed at communicating. And if we can talk through things…we can get through most anything. Cheers to you and your par…

I think some of this changes as you age. As we age. I’m 40 now. My partner is older than me, but I think she’s the most gorgeous woman alive. We look at pictures of us in our 20s, before we met, and we see we were still attractive…but we find each other more attractive now. If we separated, I would never go after younger women. I want women with my social references, my media references. Who grew up with Nirvana and 80s and 90s tv shows. All that adds to my attraction. And yeah. Some people just…

Or, blue pill people realize it’s bad for some people, but recognize it’s not anything than can be fixed. So get with it, or get over it. There is no legislation or quick societal change that’s going to help lonely men get laid. Or get wives. Do your best. And if that’s not good enough…that’s sad. But getting angry about it isn’t going to convince women to change. Ever. Not even one.

Even feminist women lament the lack of third spaces. But they aren’t willing to go to church (for the most part) or other spaces previously held just to meet people. There isn’t a current answer. There just aren’t third spaces, outside of social media and dating apps. I’ve met my last two partners over twelve years on social media. You just have to get with the times, until something else comes along. Being a non creep on IG or X or Threads isn’t hard.

In the past I’ve used the phrase, “I like you.” Like after they say something funny or cute. And if they say, “aww, I like you too, friend!” I get it and back off, and we’re just friends from then on. If they say, “I like you, too,” then it’s kinda game on. Until they give another indication it’s not the same. But putting something out there, rather than, “u want some fuk,” is pretty easy to gauge. I met my last partner years ago on social media, and we started saying “I hate you” to each other.…

I think the issue is that it’s framed as if you’re owed it. “What if I am not attractive enough to become an actor?” “What if I’m not tall enough to be good at some sports?” “What if I’m not smart enough to perform certain jobs?” It sucks. But sometimes that’s just life. And you need to give up on aspects of it. The Oscars and the NBA and MIT don’t owe you anything. So why should women? That’s just the hard truth. Edit: this isn’t black pill or incel shit. I’m happily with a partner of many year…

This. I’m a bi man. The moment that’s revealed to cis women they constantly think I’ll always be missing out on dick. That’s not how it works. At all. And it’s sad. But it’s also why I’ve only dated bi women since my 20s
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 03:03 AM

Yup. I was in an LTR and we both let ourselves go, because we both got comfortable rather than challenging each other. I know have a partner who won’t let me settle for myself, nor me for them. And we work out and are active together. Some people can be toxic, and some couples can be toxic together.

Because boundaries are not what you place around others, they’re what you place around yourself. I’m a therapist. I’m not asking you. I’m asking people who care. And if she wants to look sexy to other people, why would I care? She’s not dating them. Maybe it makes her feel good, but for years she has come home to me. If she didn’t, that would be another story.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 03:17 AM

Why wouldn’t they dress sexy? Don’t they like feeling good? Literally no issue with my partner dressing sexy and going out without me. It’s if she didn’t come back to me I’d care about. The nights she hasn’t been sober enough to drive, or, for example, Taylor Swift was in town and Uber was out of control, she just called me and we talked until she passed out. Why would I care if she wants to look good and feel sexy? Even if I’m not the benefactor? I’m not insecure enough to care.

If they’re losing, why aren’t they complaining? I mean sure, some of them are. But there aren’t women complaining they can’t get laid or be in relationships. They’re complaining about the men they have had sex with or been in relationships with. They aren’t struggling. Not in that aspect, at least. If men, even “Chads” had boundaries and standards, then there wouldn’t be anyone complaining. I’ve turned down multiple women and men for sex and relationships. I have standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 08:44 PM

Yeah. I think this is missed by a lot of people (men). Women aren’t losing. They may (rightfully) complain about them in certain spaces, but women aren’t losing in the current economy of dating. Why should they change anything if they aren’t losing? Some men on here and other spaces talk and trash single moms, but single moms are doing just fine financially and dating wise. Men who can’t get laid might say those men are simps or beta or whatever. But those men are in relationships and getting la…

Met on Twitter a few years ago. I saw her profile and started making puns and bad jokes on her posts. She liked it. Liked me. Moved to DMs. Then texting. Then spent a weekend with her. It is. And some of them have good points. But a lot of men have gravitated towards a view that women in their 20s want to date higher (hypergamy) and then men in their 30s have to settle for baby mamas and women with high body counts. It’s all a mess. But it’s fascinating to me, professionally.

Black is accepting a “truth” that there’s no point in trying to convince people, and it just is what it is. Women want to get run through by Chad in their 20s and settle with an average man in their 30s when they have a kid or something. Purple is typically rejecting both blue and red and being centrist.

Yeah. The number of single women here is very low in my experience. And I rarely get the feeling they feel bad about getting “pumped and dumped” in their younger years. Actually, come to think of it, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a thread from a woman talking negatively about experiences with “Chads.” Like the idea you’d get if you believed some posts on here would be that women are hating that they can’t find good partners in their 30s because no man would want them as single moms or the lik…

Yeah, I don’t see anything that mentions what OP is claiming. The women orgasmed more frequently when they found their partner attractive, but it also states the fact that the men causing them to orgasm could be a factor in why the women found them attractive. It also doesn’t mention the orgasms were exclusively caused by PIV sex. It’s not even remotely implied.

Communication is arguably the only reason relationships end. Obviously there is abuse and the like, and they shouldn’t be ignored. But communication is even more important than finances, even though the number two reason for divorce is finances. Finances are a reason to divorce because you two didn’t communicate. I shave my whole body, minus the face, because the body hair I do have is spotty and not regular. That said, I adore underarm and leg hair on women, along with pubic hair. I dunno.

Dude, you are so full of it. Just looking through your post history, and so many of your posts are just shaming women for hooking up with multiple men. There’s literally no way you have had serious relationships with anyone with the mentality you post online. You excuse men’s behavior and shame women for theirs. The fact that OP unironically uses “choreplay” as a thing is all I need to see. Women aren’t sex vending machines. You don’t get tokens for doing shit you’re just supposed to be doing for an equal division of labor. The wife in the OP’s example wasn’t saying, “if you do more chores you’ll get sex.” She was saying she’s exhausted and doesn’t feel appreciated. If the husband started doing a bit more, but she’s still exhausted and doesn’t feel appreciated, she isn’t going to want to have sex more. …

Ok. So it’s the reality. Then there’s no point in complaining about. Just like you wouldn’t complain about gravity or seasons changing or the sun rising. It’s reality. Stop complaining.

Yeah, some of the closest relationships I’ve had as an adult now in his 40s were social media relationships, that turned into more. Some live near me. Some live on the other side of the world. Met on a like-minded group on Twitter/X years ago, made a discord together where we chatted, shared, watched movies together every Wednesday, etc. We have surface-level conversations to meet ups, to some of us, including myself, find long-term partners. Was so weird, honestly. But it happened naturally.

1) Do they have boundaries, and are they appropriate ones? As in, they acknowledge boundaries as being for themselves alone, and not for their friends or partners? In therapy, boundaries are personal fences and walls we set up for ourselves, and they are never set up to wall or fence in others. Men who can express their insecurities with how you dress, or if you have male friends, can be valid (even if they’re not healthy), but they should never be described as “boundaries,” and, as such, be bey…

To be fair, this is one person’s red flags, and their reasons for them could be equally valid as the reasons you see them as only yellow flags.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 01:51 AM
7

This is true. And I think it’s key to remember the difference between A), “they have (and more importantly, acknowledge) that they have issues and insecurities, that they are both aware of and working on,” and B) “I see their red flags, which they deny, but I think I can fix them.”

But…the patriarchy is oppressive. Why wouldn’t they call it out when they see it?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 03:52 AM
4

Let’s say for a moment that that’s true. Household labor is still important, and men don’t get to opt out because they choose their careers over partners. If they are really making as much as their labor would say, they could and should demand housekeepers and nannies. And if they’re working their asses off and not making enough to afford those things, they need to accept that, and still equally divide household labor.

And? What legislation is pending that will harm or hurt (white) men? Edit: the answer is: none. Because women don’t hold enough political power.

And double-edged sword. If you are a feminist and comment on a men’s rights sub, you’re going to get a lot of more content from them shoved in your face. Even if your comment was a disagreement. The algorithm sees you interacted, and that’s literally all it cares about. Not the content of your post. Just that you posted. If you scroll and personally love only cats and cartoons, but never interact with, the algorithm isn’t going to care as much as that one post you made. You interacted with the m…

I think this is probably close to the truth. There are active laws and campaigns pending to end things like no fault divorce. I know of no laws pending that harm or limit men’s rights.

So in my 20s I did social media management, and I can say that unless things have changed, it’s always engagement that matters. So you’re not wrong. But not wholly right. The algorithm doesn’t care if you agree or disagree. They care if you view, comment, and share. So you’re right that it’s about interaction, but it does depend on the individual. Some people disagree and don’t comment or share/repost. They’ll get shown content they do comment and share. Others can’t help themselves and comment …

Ignoring the true first time, which wasn’t consensual, it was missionary. We were watching a bootleg version of Fellowship of the Rings, and I had no sex ed, being homeschooled. At some point she told me to “put it all in,” and I was confused. I thought I had been, and that she was saying I was small. Turned out I just imagined a vaginal canal to be very short for some reason, and I didn’t want to go all the way in and hurt her. I am absolutely average. But it remains one of the funniest stories…

I was home schooled, and only socialized on Sundays at church until I was 18. Army helped me/forced me to interact. More than even college. But smoking on night school breaks led to socializing. Actually, in retrospect, smoking led to a lot of socializing in most aspects, when it was still more acceptable. At jobs. At school. Apartment buildings. Bars. Etc. I started smoking just to hang out with the people who did, and learned a lot. But that “culture” is dead for the most part. Shame about the…

I dunno, honestly. During my 20s I never worked hard to get with people. I mean, I guess men were easier to hook up with, or at least they were “dtf” quicker. But women partners were never “work.” Meet at parties or bars. Flirt. Hook up. In my 30s I was mostly in long term relationships, but in the couple years between them where I hooked up, it was usually friends, coworkers, etc. I didn’t have much success on Tinder, because I got so bored trying to small talk on dates and opening conversation…

Yeah, this is where the disconnect happens. “Guys are lying!” Ok, how can we prove that? “Because I anecdotally don’t know any men in my tailored spaces who are having sex. And they wouldn’t lie.” But, you just said men lie about sex. “LOOK AT THE STUDY!” -there is no winning. There’s only losing. Men who have sex are Chads who will throw women away. Men who can’t get sex are given platforms.

Bruh? Dating and relationships had probably the biggest change in the 70s, as far as people still in the dating world understand it. One of the classes I took for my masters in relationship therapy was about movies and media, and all of us in my field who are Millennials recognize that if you hold a boombox outside a girls window or chase a woman through an airport, you’re going to jail.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 12:47 AM
4

Yeah. This. I compliment men and women coworkers on their fashion, and they do on mine, and neither of us think we’re hitting on them. That said, with all new employees I talk about what kind of compliments are and are not acceptable. Myself obviously included.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 12:40 AM
7

Exactly this. When my (much) younger women compliment me, I know for a fact they aren’t hitting on me. They just know I’m not going to perceive it that way, because they know who I am and what I represent. If they say I’m looking good today, I know they mean I’m well dressed, etc. They aren’t hitting on me. And they know I wouldn’t be interested even if they were. Because I’m 40 and they’re in their 20s. Absolutely not.

First of all, I’m a guy. Just a bi one. Second of all, exceptions to the rule deserve respect and love just as much as your self-proclaimed “rule.” Lastly, I hope you’re young. I’m 40. And I would rather die than date someone 18-21 years old. The idea is nauseating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 11:13 PM
3

Yeah, I think there’s some nuance here you’re touching on. I’m 40 as of this year. I work with a lot of support staff who are in their 20s. I can find them attractive, and joke around and talk with them. But I would never in my life hit on them (if I were single). Not just because of work, but because of how different we are. But that’s objectively not true. Some men, sure. But “no man”? Absolutely and objectively false. Lots of marriages between young people end. In fact they’re the most likely to end. Those divorced people don’t stay single the rest of their lives, despite what some men here say.

Why would a man in his 30s not go after a woman in her 30s (assuming they’re straight, obviously)? Maybe she got married young. Maybe she was in a LTR for years and didn’t get married. Maybe she focused on her career and didn’t care about dating or relationships. I have a partner I love, and I turned 40 this year. If things ended suddenly, there’s no way I’d go after a woman or guy in their 20s. That would be a) gross to me, and b) I’d have less in common with them, as we’re at different life st…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 01:54 AM

Even if that’s true, who cares? No one owes anyone sex. If a majority of women want to have sex with a minority of men, that’s their free will and choice. And you literally have no say.

Most of the time it’s men, unwilling to equally divide labor, and women get fed up. Not always. But a majority of the time. A lot of women feel that it’s on them to clean and cook; and then they have no energy for sex. And then men resent them for that, because “it’s their place.”

Literally no one who loves their partner will cheat; in a monogamous relationship. Only cheaters will. And if you try and control their behavior or actions, they’ll just cheat on you, because they know you don’t respect them. This isn’t hard to understand
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 06:02 AM

Sadly, people who will cheat, will always cheat. They’ll just more than likely get it where it’s easier to excuse it. People who won’t cheat, won’t cheat. Edit: you cannot control your partner. If she/he will cheat , they’ll always do it. Work is just the best outlet, because of how easy it is. Not because of how easy they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:48 AM

Yes. It shows massive insecurity. “I think you want to have sex with your male friends.” “Why?” “Because they’re male and they can’t possibly respect you as a person and only see you as an object to have sex with.” “Why?” “Because I would.” “Ah.”

We’re more likely to cheat with people who are on similar career paths and in similar industries as us. That, is factual. And makes sense. It isn’t Chad at the club. It’s Sara in accounting. We covet what we see daily. Same with most other “crimes” in that way.

I don’t think there’s any universal key to panties coming off. But if there is one, at least for me, it was always being funny. Being self-deprecating, without making people feel sad. Being self-aware, without being egotistical. Being sarcastic without being cruel or negging. I was homeschooled for most of my life, until college, and what I did was watch people, and listen to stand up comedy. Listen to male comics that made women laugh; and also scream. And that balance. The balance is so tight.…

His post history shows it. He even admits to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 06:06 AM

But you admit to being an incel… Edit: this whole thread has you admitting you’re in your 30s, have never been in a romantic relationship, and you resent the term incel.

I am aware of debate tactics. I did debate in high school. But I’m also aware of reality. You can point at things that would lose a debate in class, but would win in reality. That’s where reality kicks in. You could debate me around the fence, logically, and win. But unless it matters in reality it doesn’t matter. You know this is real. And I’m not even saying it should be. But it is.

I think the thing you’re forgetting is that we don’t date by logical fallacies, or lack there of. It may be a nice idea. But we don’t. We date by feelings over facts. Regardless of how facts might not feel about your feelings, feelings care about your facts. And you can’t change that. Even if it’s illogical.

But, so what? If you aren’t top percentile, why are you complaining? You didn’t make it. No one is owed anyone, so why complain about it?

I dated a woman with a child, and helped raise them for a decade. I got my experience with kids. The biological dad was out of the picture, and that kid still calls me “dad” even though I have no legal or biological ties to him. And I love him. Without any reservations. That said, I write, I further my studies into therapy, as a therapist, and I also love making art from photoshop jobs. I’m beyond happy with a current partner, who I never had kids with. And I’ll never have biological kids of my …

I’ve never had any issues with finding male or female partners for sex or relationships. The only time I did struggle was when I was 17 and got so angry at this girl who befriended me, and flirted with me, but only ever wanted to be friends. And she would date these gross guys, and I would be there for her, but eventually one night I blew up and was like, “why would you date these assholes when I’m here for you??” And she said, “because you’re my friend, and I just don’t see you that way.” This …

Yup. If men are turning to porn or video games, that’s a failure on their part to self-improve. And not a fault of women

Yeah, when I was first starting dating like 22 years ago, “friend zone” was the up and coming terminology for hating on women. You had to be aggressive and treat them a little badly (neg) to stay out of the friend zone. Was garbage then, just like it’s garbage now.

Yeah, but complaining or trying to control things like how a woman dresses, or if she has male friends, or what her body count is…honestly, almost all gen z females are aware of these controlling and rp behaviors, and they love when men advertise themselves that way, so the women can more easily avoid them. Things like “high quality man/woman,” or, “pair bonding.” Like, no women are buying into this. Just more young men who would rather be angry than improve themselves. Who would rather be decen…

Guy thought PIV sex should be enough to make the woman cum Guy didn’t do hardly any foreplay Guy didn’t finish and then help her finish Guy was uncomfortable with the woman using a toy to help her reach orgasm Lots of guys are just bad at sex.
