From your comments I see you don't have a lot of good examples of marriage in your life. I'm sorry to hear that because a strong, stable marriage is the perfect environment for huge personal growth for anyone. I believe that humans need to have other humans around us to keep us in check and to keep us sane in a insane world. My wife and I see a lot of terrible relationships/marriages around me and it makes us just work harder to be a positive example for the younger people in our family/friend g…

I look at these threads in horror. Seeing insane fanfiction after insane fanfiction about what the other sex thinks. Thanks for being a voice of reason in the sea of people trapped by their own minds.

This shit is fake and the vast majority of real girls aren't like the fanfiction op made up. For the love of God you motherfuckers just need to get off the internet (and out of your heads) and out into the real world. It's way more forgiving, even though the stakes are higher.

Being terminally online is toxic to ones psyche and to society in general. I believe it should not be encouraged.

I'm not sure which women you are saying are low quality. If it's the ones with unrealistic, Hollywood standards for masculinity I'd agree. It's a huge boon for a relationship to not have irrelevant worries like this so one can focus on real issues every relationship faces.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 08:12 PM

You are making up a position for me I didn't take. There are women who think like the OP post, but they are a small fraction being portrayed as if it's the majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 04:40 PM

I have real conversations with lots of non-online women. I don't hang out with any that have the absurd standards you describe. You probably just need to change who you are hanging out with if they are like this.

Your evidence is this thread of terminally online insane people who say 👍🏿is digital blackface? This is just sad, bro. Real people aren't like this

Women who "ick" at these things aren't worth your time. Find someone who values a real human and not a facade. Btw most women I converse with do not "ick" at these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 03:29 PM

I can say with much certainty: you are terminally online and have no idea what the real world is like.

That's just like... your opinion, man.

Obligatory acknowledgment that the comments here are not a regular slice of society and tend to be a gathering of people high in trait neuroticism. Platonic love seems to be largely ignored by contemporary society as a whole and I imagine that causes/exacerbates many modern problems. Building a strong platonic community around one's self is fucking invaluable in my personal experience, but it also is very rare for people my age(25). Yes, the vast majority of men want romantic love. It's pretty r…

I feel like people like you need to get off the internet where everything is curated to an absurd level and find out what reality is like.

You say this and yet OP, who is presumably a woman, called the one on the left ugly and berated a man for saying she is attractive.

It is really absurd how little a fellow has to do for you to assume so much about him. It's almost as if the word incel has lost all it's meaning.

This is a supremely pointless thread. People give answers to a question OP asked only for OP and others to tell them that they know better about what they would do. That being said, I'm really surprised nobody has said my answer, which is neither. There are so many other choices out there. I would have casual sex with the girl on the right but there is no way in hell I'd have a relationship with them.

What? You can't be serious.

This is insane. Honestly think this may not be the right subreddit for you.

I didn't know that there was such thing as a marriage without a dead bedroom. Seems few and far between!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 05:20 PM

You say this but it seems to me that the majority bedrooms end up dead eventually.

Every LTR I know seems to operate like that though so this doesn't seem viable

There are a lot of insightful comments here, which makes me appreciate the fact that this question was asked. I'd just like to add that in my experience, men seem to be more satisfied with the friendships they have whereas women tend to want to grow their friend groups constantly. As I see it (personally), I'd rather just look for more sexual relationships, because my friend group already fulfills my need for friendship. This may just be only true for the people around me and not most men and wo…

Women constantly shame men for being sexual creatures though

I don't think subscribing to onlyfans constitutes respecting women...

You are labeling all men on the sub based on one of the extremes on the sub. MenLib seems to be too much of a echo chamber with strangely specific beliefs for me. I love that this sub has lots of DIFFERENT opinions.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 12:12 PM

This type of comment is why I love this sub. You just find some of the most balanced opinions here (along with both extremes of course)

How dare men care about men's issues and emotional plights in life, I guess.

How is anyone supposed to take your argument seriously when the only one you have is that men are just born awful?? Should we all just kill ourselves? Should we have a sex apartheid?

As an atheist, I second this.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/21 09:19 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
