Ugh, my condolences. In hindsight he should have said he couldn’t meet the deadline, the startup would have to push back to next years convention. It took him two years to get back to the personality he had before the overwork period after the overwork period ended. During that time he was way more snappish, prone to anger and actually swearing at people when he was angry. Bad times.

I think you’ll find, as with everything, it’s more complicated than a one to one relationship, in this case with ‘best dating conditions’ . The largest reason for our low reproduction rates is the extreme cost of housing and extreme inflationary environment. We know couples would be actively having more children right now if they could afford them. In Japan, a place with birth rates in free fall for almost a century, the biggest reasons are the traditional 6 day work week combined with workplace…

It has taken until this year for me to discover that men think they will get a date or hookup by approaching a woman they don’t know IRL. As a woman that’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. I only date/fall in love with men in my social circle. Men I talk to socially because they are at gatherings with my friends, with my family, in my uni class, in my student housing, at my work, at my art class. I met my first boyfriend at uni, and my second partner at a party a close frien…

What are you rating, and are you assuming all women rate men the same way? Because I can tell you that last one isn’t right. For me personality and passion for ideas is more important than looks. These days being emotionally skilled and life skilled is more important than all the other things. When I was young, and I can say now objectively beautiful by today’s standards, despite me not knowing it at the time, I dated an extremely ugly man, extremely thin, gawky, acne scars, and huuuuge buck tee…

Moderators please help me! I can find the description of my flair: pale purple for a female feminist who thinks men have some serious issues to complain about that USA society as a whole aren’t addressing, but I haven’t managed to flair myself up either from the website or the app because I’m obviously blind. Or AuDHD.

I would rather be with an obese man earning nothing as long as he put in as much mental load work as I do, and sits down with me once a week to plan out whatever needs tweaking or long term planning about finances, shopping, savings, gardening, house repairs, renovations, utilitarian purchases. If he’s doing the mental load stuff, (see You Should Have Asked comic on Emma’s webpage) and he’s an aware person then he’s going to be helping out with half the housework/shopping/cooking/cleaning, which…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
