I feel ya man, I have a friend in a similar position. Only he lives in the same small town as his daughter yet he's only allowed access for a few hours a week. All revolves around his ex's whims. He can see his daughter on some holidays and long weekends of course, because she can go out drinking with friends then. Only a despicable human being would use a child as a pawn in some narcissistic game. His daughter is only 8 now but she's already twice the adult her mother is. The sooner the better …

That's already being done in Australia. I'm not Australian and I'm not very familiar with it, but search the name Dr Brian Ironwood and you'll get the jist of what they're trying to do. Even if it fails it looks to be a noble attempt at helping men with mental issues.
