Well, here's where I always get stuck. I see this as two different issues. Yeah, that's kind of a larger problem on Reddit. There are a ton of subreddits that are supposed to be there for discussing the harder issues in life, but most of them have shitty mod teams that pick the correct opinions and remove anything that doesn't conform.

Any time someone hurts a woman, it's "Violence Against Women." Men getting hurt is just "Violence," even though more men are victims of violent crime (Source - see page 16). Frankly, I don't see how that's unjustified. 86% of rape victims are female (Source - see page 5), so it's perfectly accurate to say that "most rape victims are female." It's important to teach the fact that anyone can be raped (and that it can happen nearly anywhere), but it's also important to highlight risk factors. I have a feeling that this image was created as a response to a "how to effectively hurt males" image. I'm guessing it featured information along the lines of "...and if you hit him in the balls hard enough, hey may never be able to have kids." At least, I hope this is a parody/response. Specifically outlining how you can hit a woman to "potentially impair her from having children" or "keep her from enjoying sex for days, weeks, or months" is indeed quite fucked up.

This should not be considered a favor. Crossing the street for a woman should never even enter the man's head. Why? Because we should not be supporting the notion that it's okay to stereotype men.
