I didn't use those sources. Those are just sources that back up my claims. If you can show some that say the opposite, be my guest. Are we taking about mass shootings, or getting shot and killed? I can adjust my it's accordingly. We are talking about mass shootings because YOU brought them up. Lol people don't have guns just to protect themselves from other guns. That's the most retarded stance I've ever heard.

You tell me. Are people not being arrested for hate speech in the UK? as an additional note, im from Lancashire.

Which statistics would you like sources for? The United States is the third-most populous country in the world, with an estimated population of 329,227,746 as of January 28, 2020 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demography_of_the_United_States Three-in-ten American adults (30%) say they personally own a gun, and an additional 11% say they live with someone who does, https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/10/22/facts-about-guns-in-united-states/ ABC News/FBI: four or more shot and killed in one …

That shit never happens. its rare af. The right to protect yourself is a human right. America is the only one that protects that right. There are 330,149,796 in the United States. 43% of people say they have a gun in their home. That's 141,964,412 people. There are 41 shootings a year. You think 41 fucked up people should restrict the rights of the other 141,964,371 that DONT commit shootings? Do you care about the statistics of DEFENSIVE gun usage in the united states? It outnumbers gun deaths,…

The reason it doesnt matter is because firearms used in gang violence are usually illegally obtained and gun control laws do not affect these types of crimes. Ignoring gang violence, of the mass shootings that fit the criteria put forth by the FBI, there were 220 deaths due to mass shootings. That is only slightly higher than the amount of Americans that die every year falling out of bed (150), as well as people dying due to coconuts falling on their heads every year (150). Falling off of ladder…

I've read it before. Gang violence doesnt count because thats not typical America. Its isolated violence between isolated people. Of the 434 listed on that page, only 41 of them fit the criteria of a Mass Shooting as defined by the FBI. The only reasons those other ones are listed are because they fit the criteria of anti-gun campaigns.

What are the inclusion criteria? Could it be exactly what I just posted in my last update? "Mass shootings" are also misleading and includes any situation where more than 3 people are shot. I appreciate that this article actually left out gang violence out of their statistic, because this makes up for the majority of mass shootings you see in the media. ah yes. it is. The majority of these listed "mass shootings" are gang violence. At least the bbc article cut out that garbage.

I read articles all the time that show mass shootings, police killing minorities, shit health care etc etc... Look.. im not sure what that has to do with anything, but its mostly sensationalism. Tell you what... Find a police officer and call him a cunt, tell him you hope his family dies and you'll dance on his children's grave... See what happens. Here is a video of a guy yelling at a cop "get the fuck on, faggot ass n-word boy" during an official stop lol https://youtu.be/-38k18N7iII?t=152 if …

that article spews the exact same information. i already read and responded to it elsewhere in this thread. That article is misleading because, while it does show that 85% of the gun deaths in America are suicides, it leaves out that the remaining 10% is gang violence and is confined to about 4 cities, and even with that being the case, you are more likely to die of malpractice in a hospital in one of those cities, than getting shot (unless you are in a gang). The media cries about school shooti…

I just read an article about how people are getting arrested for hate speech in the UK... The only speech that is illegal in the US is anything that incite criminal actions. You don't get arrested for being mean to people.

Funny how this article doesnt mention the CDC's statistic on defense gun usage in the united states which, at a low estimate, is over 100,000 a year.

lol. let me prove my point by linking to an anti-gun media outlet! Why even compare the US gun deaths to other countries that have no guns? How does it even make sense? I think more telling are the violence statistics before and after gun control is implemented which, to save you the surprise, does not have any impact on violence.

aw man im gonna get downvoted, but while this IS a pussypassdenied, its not one I agree with. That dude is huge and the chick is tiny. If a small dude tried to hit him, he could have and should have turned the other cheek. Same with this girl. He didnt need to defend himself from her. Not because she was a girl, just because she was tiny. Actually, now that I think about it, she really should have thought about that before she punched him in the face... lol
