1	Netflix “adolescence” attacks masculinity in the WORST way Yes, that was definitely one of the big contributors to Jamie’s decision. However, I think we are supposed to see it in a much broader scope. You saw how atrocious the school environment was, how the adults/parents had a harder time understanding the students/kids. How personal shame + bullying from Katie and others contributed to Jamie’s fragile self esteem, likely gravitation toward the manosphere content and his ultimate decision to commit murder.
