I did call the number for our state and the person listened to what was going on and gave us advice. She suggested writing a written letter, that that sometimes changes things. | 4 | Being held hostageAnother tactic we did, because our lawyer wasn't communicating much or getting things done, was we stopped asking questions or ask what the options are. I paid for one of those "ask a lawyer" sites for advice and then sent emails to the lawyer dictating what to do. And when we did that, suddenly her lawyer submitted their copy the next day after ignoring us for a few months. It got her a* moving.
