It’s like “womyn” to include trans folk. Womxn is the trans one. Womyn is when 70’s radfems decided they couldn’t handle any word with ‘men’ or ‘man’ in it.

If you watch more of the show though he always mentions when an issue disproportionately affects a certain demographic, except when that demographic is men

Being a man just means being male imo. You don’t have to think/act/dress a certain way to be a man and you don’t have to be masculine.

I can even dig up examples of where the mod team there thinks that men consenting to have sex is equivalent to consenting to having kids. It’s funny how quickly pro choice feminists switch to pro life arguments when it comes to paper abortion

Unfortunately this is pretty typical of Reddit’s trans community. Anything that has the slightest possibility of upsetting them must be banned apparently, even if the reasons don’t make sense

I tell them to replace men with oppressed group of the week and then see how it sounds. Kinda like /r/menkampf

You don't have to be one or the other. I've been called a TERF more times than I can count because I share their skepticism of trans activism and understanding of of sex/gender; but they don't own those concepts. I can see the failings in both ideologies.

I did a search for this sub on Reddit and it only left me more baffled. Lots of random buzzwords and accusations like "They're all incels!", "They're hardcore right wingers!" "They claim mysoginy doesn't exist!" all without a single example or elaboration, naturally. Reading more of the comments I've come to the realisation that the ones who hate this sub just can't handle discussion that doesn't centre them. If anybody mentions an issue that men go through without some long Men'sLib-esque discl…

Did a bit of scrolling and as I expected, the points they try to make are so unrepresentative of this sub I had to double check whether they were talking about the same place.

At least there are some people calling him out. What an idiot

One of the oldest tricks in the book. Have a ‘debate’ but deliberately pick an opponent who argues poorly to represent the opposing side, thereby artificially making your arguments seem more sound.

I bring up my own experiences of having my boundaries violated by women and being harassed by ones who want to “convert” me (I’m gay), then point out that none of that is justification to hate women in general. Then ask them what makes the reverse okay

Jesus look at all those nuked comments and threads. I wonder how many were perfectly valid points that got removed because the mods couldn’t handle anyone disagreeing with the narrative

Women are victims because <insert example of something that also happens to men on a daily basis> Hit the nail on the head. It’s always either taking destructive behaviour both men and women are guilty of, and pretend only men do it; or taking problems that affect both sexes, and pretend they only affect women

I've seen a post on TwoX saying that women need to accept basically all men have had at least one incidence of sexual misconduct at some point in their lives. Like, fucking what? It was upvoted and nobody called her on her shit I guarantee many people would’ve. And the mods immediately banned them and removed their comments.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
