got it 👌 thanks for your perspective!!

I absolutely love that your response is to challenge the logistics of the claim rather than debate the gender roles behind it 😂😭 (no sarcasm here I actually thought that was so funny)

is it what you value, or what you expect? promise not a leading question, just curious as to how you view it. for example, when you meet someone you’re attracted to but find out she’s a workaholic and doesn’t want children, do you see that woman as wrong, or just not a good fit?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 10:02 PM

wow alright lol. I saw this in a TikTok being stitched with someone else’s response. of course I also don’t agree that this represents common thinking from women, I posed the question because I was curious if someone who labeled themselves “red pill” would respond negatively to this type of thinking. are you saying you’ve never seen an instance of the “trad woman” claiming to be better than other women?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 09:58 PM

oh I agree this was definitelyyyy rage bait, but I don’t think it’s far off from how a lot of women that have embraced a “traditional womanhood” role feel. I only posed the question to see if literally anyone responded positively.

I don’t think it’s at the root per se, but in the US a lot of the issues surrounding dating are rooted in the expectations of what being a “woman” and a “man” mean. sometimes women rebel against the traditional view and some women rebel against it. I only posed the question to see how people reacted to someone not only enjoying (apparently) traditional “womanhood” but insisting others should as well.

100%. motive means a lot in this aspect. I put in my share in my relationship because I love and respect my partner. not because i’m subtly trying to convince them to not cheat on me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 09:49 PM

agreed
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 09:47 PM

I would agree

… is this sub specifically for dating advice for men, and not debating the ideologies that make it difficult? my apologies if so, my misunderstanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 09:46 PM

couldn’t agree more LOL. the sad thing is, I didn’t make this up. gotta love tiktok

Woah I have not been here that long and do not know what PPD male means, I’m really sorry if what I said was offensive if that’s what you mean?

lol, I literally used “treat women like humans” in a response I made to a post on here not too long ago, and this is exactly what I meant. obviously the response in question was a whole paragraph and I explained what I was saying. but you can always count on people discussing the complex interpretations of four words 😂

then go to tinder or something idk? no matter who you are, i’d say it’s creepy to approach someone for the sole reason to have sex with them. that’s just my opinion though

I like hearing your perspective, and I agree. I appreciate you discussing it with me. I have a question if you don’t mind: why are men so adverse to women caring about men’s mental health? or even other men opening up about their mental health? i have a personal care for men’s mental health (issues with fam) and have always tried to be a good advocate (? if this is the right word), and it’s usually met with hostility. i’m just wondering is there a certain reason why help/support isnt accepted co…

And those women SUCK. if a woman is rude to you for just beginning a conversation, you dodged a bullet. their opinion of you doesn’t matter. I imagine that’s really frustrating, and I can see why men get over it quickly. some people are assholes. but the women who you’d actually like to spend time with won’t shut you down for just talking to them, and if they’re taken or uninterested will tell you respectfully. (I mean you in the general sense, not you specifically)

idk why I feel compelled to add to this convo since I am a lesbian and obviously in the minority here, but hear me out. I think some of you guys may be overthinking this a tad. I have been dating my fiancée for 3 years now, and we have had many instances of men approaching us. here’s the crazy part: 95% of these interactions are positive and we end up leaving with a new friend, or at least a nice conversation. a lot of the time we won’t even realize we’re being hit on until “can I have your numb…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
