I’m going to agree and disagree at the same time. Men don’t properly grieve their loses which actually make them stuck in their past so they can’t move on. I prefer to grieve the loss until the man is a stranger to my soul- grief is an emotion that cleans/ closes a connection. I don’t listen to sad songs that make me feel closer to him but I do love Sia’s “Elastic Heart”- a song that reinforces strength.

That’s what I was thinking. I swear, some therapists don’t call out shitty behavior and it’s not okay

This. I am a therapist and there is a marked difference between male and female clients. Each male client I have worked with has a lot of issues with personal accountability and awareness. Every woman I have worked with has admitted her fuck ups and been willing to take responsibility- sometimes more than is her share. Generally the men are very willing to blame and look outward for their problems which results in me having to do much more work to redirect them to their role in their life’s circ…

Someone who compartmentalizes their lives. Someone who believes porn isn’t cheating and what they do on their time is their own business. Someone that tells you to let him love you in his own way while neglecting your needs. Basically anyone who is comfortable being selfish and entitled.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. There are very few Christian doctrines that don’t serve and protect patriarchy. I think the whole concept of god the “father” whom watches you and and judges your actions unevenly affects women. I have noticed that women who grew up with this teaching take it to heart and earnestly try to do their best and for that reason rarely react in anger even when anger is needed because they are always judging their actions for kindness and fairness. Most men re…

Queen 👑 😍 Gail Dines is my role model. Listening to her research is like taking a cool drink of water after walking through the desert. She helps to restore some sanity it what feels like an insane world.

Yes!! I’m pretty short myself and men that are a few inches taller than me but still on the shorter side are more attractive to me. However, the inferiority complex makes it too difficult to date them!

If anyone is lurking and unsure if they want to give the podcast a listen, I strongly recommend it. I was on the fence because listening to a podcast feels like a bigger commitment than scrolling on Reddit. Since listening to the pod I feel way more connected to the spirit of FDS. Listening to the podcast feels like taking a weekly dose of anti-scrote nonsense which I am thankful for!

I love this! Can we please post this on Craigslist jobs just to see how many responses it gets? I would be rolling with laughter for days! 😂

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
