They are definitely related. A person might look good in a photo but once you spend time with them and realise they have no personality, sense of humour or interests, they become unattractive.

Correct, men under report sexual violence more that women, and unfortunately often the sexual violence is perpetrated by men against men (but not exclusively). The rates of prosecution for sexual assaults on men are even lower than the prosecution rates for men who commit sexual assault against women, and there are a host of reasons for that - including because a lot of men don’t think it’s possible for women to sexually assault men (which it absolutely is). However it is an absolute fact that w…

Let me reiterate: YOU’RE WRONG and grossly and willingly misinformed.

You seem to have a comprehension problem. And a lack of lived experience of the issue. Don’t tell me I’m wrong when I know these issues to be fact. Just because you can’t prove something in court doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, and that’s why it’s such an issue and why the vast majority of sexual crimes go unpunished. Like I said, go and look and the statistics. Justice for the victims and consequences for the perpetrators of these crimes are not the same as the number of successful prosecutions.

Check into stats for successful prosecutions of those crimes, and then check the stats for how many cases even make it to court. YOU are grossly misinformed.

Disproportionate sexual and domestic violence towards women would suggest that women are in fact not as privileged as you seem to arrogantly suggest. Then throw in the lack of consequences for men who perpetrate these acts and somehow the balance of power tips the other way. Then let’s talk about the ‘pump and dump’ culture that many men gleefully take part in, which is taking advantage of women who have had their sense of self-worth devalued over the course of their life to the point that she a…

Like what? Is the full range of experiences is only valid if it fucks someone else over? I can’t think of a single thing I want or need that would involve taking advantage of someone deliberately and maliciously.

I’m telling you I am not loosing at life. It is possible to have empathy and live a good life. What is loosing, anyway? I don’t feel like I’m compromising or loosing anything by being decent to other people.

Ohhh no I’m not suggesting you be more moral than women, or anyone. Women are no better if they take advantage of a dude who is vulnerable (and I can site plenty of examples of that happening). I’m suggesting that maybe everyone could not be such arseholes by tapping into that little thing which makes them feel empathy.

Your making a shit tonne of assumptions about me that are incorrect. But I do like your point that fast casual morality is a blight on society and is designed for the directionless masses. The argument about humans possessing an internal moral compass or needing an external source of motivation to behave in a way which advances civilisation as a whole is as old as the hills. If you choose to wet your dick for the sole purpose of self gratification, then that’s your right. The original argument w…

Middle class martyr, hey? If you say so. Limiting my desires is an interesting assumption. I really do feel bad that you feel so strongly that the only option to obtain gratification is to take advantage of other people for your own gain. That mindset is definitely not limited to you, I know plenty of selfish and shallow people, some of whom are desperately unhappy and some who border on sociopathy and don’t care one iota who they trample on to have their desires met. So like we both said, each …

To each their own. I am sufficiently wealthy that I don’t need to lie and cheat to have everything I need and much more but also I don’t get my kicks out of fucking people over.

Like I said, wherever you live sounds terrible and you sound very unhappy, and for that I’m sorry. Genuinely. A product of a really fucked up family and community and shallow relationships with everyone in your life.

I’m a fucking martyr now for thinking respect for another human is optional? Eat or be eaten? Lol. No wonder you see no problem getting your dick wet in self loathing women who feel like they dont deserve any better. I don’t know where you live but it sounds terrible and you sound very unhappy.

I didn’t need anything explained to me. I think you blur the lines deliberately and need to acknowledge that a lot of fucked up things are legal, including taking advantage of vulnerable people.

Dude you sound revolting. And like you hate women. And like you seek desperate or desperately unhappy women to wet your dick in as a power trip.

Ahh well go wet your dick in whatever you want. It’s a fucking gross attitude but if that’s how you feel about it, nobody is stopping you.

Lol a sexually liberated women who actively seeks casual sexual encounters isn’t the same as a women who has had her worth diminished over the course of her life to a point where she will let any old jerk fuck her. And you know it. And most men know it. Sexually liberated women own their power. As does a sexually liberated man. There are a LOT of sexually repressed men out there who wouldn’t know what to do with a sexually liberated women.

Are you a pumper and dumper? If you are engaging in casual sex with women who obviously have issues with their self worth, that’s a pretty big reflection on you. It’s easy to take advantage of someone with big issues. People who have self esteem and self worth issues should actively work on those things for themselves but taking advantage of that vulnerability is pitiful and gross.

A perspective from a women in this position: I’m the bread winner in our family, have been since we had little kids 20 years ago. My husband works 20/hr week from home and does the majority of our home duties. I work shift work but am as involved in our kids lives as much as he is. It makes financial sense to do things this way. He has contributed financially by being awesome at home Reno’s and gardening, significantly increasing the value of all our homes which we have bought and sold over the …

Many men interpret women being vulnerable with them as being needy and emotional. It goes both ways if the receiver isn’t in a place to hear the information. Relationships are tricky.

Personally I find a man who is able to be vulnerable with me a green flag. Not a sexual turn-on but a clue that he won’t be an a emotional brick wall in years to come.

It’s up to individuals to take control of their health. I know there are systemic and generational factors at play. But much like everything, you can’t rely on anyone but yourself. It’s easy to pass the buck. It’s much harder to take responsibility for our own choices.

And why healthy eating habits and regular physical activity should be a priority from childhood. Ingrained habits so you know how it feels to be healthy and vibrant. People who maintain a healthy weight or loose weight and keep it off address their whole lifestyle and attitudes towards food and physical activity.

A mother’s role remains to nurture her child/ren and help them develop skills to function in adulthood. To be a safe, non-judgemental and guiding force for which they can 100% rely on, either to cheer them on or be the soft place to fall when they make a mistake. To demonstrate how capable women are and model respectful relationships. To continue to install values and have long in depth discussions about things that matter to your family. To provide good food which nourish’s rapidly growing mind…

I don’t need or want a meal ticket in my male partner either. I want to have lively hilarious intellectual banter with my partner who I love regardless of how much either of us earn or has the ‘limelight’ in any given situation. There is room for both of us at the table and that’s how my marriage has survived 19 solid years of partnership.

I fucking hate this post. Men like you are intimidated by the traits you don’t feel necessary in a partner. You want a sexually compliant partner who laughs at your jokes and stokes your ego and makes you feel smarter than her. Puke.
