I get how hard it must be to date when you're paralyzed, but it really doesn't paint a good picture when her entire bio is just self pity and comments about "real men". If she wants a good man she needs to show that she's a person of quality too.

When you reveal you're a woman they call you a handmaiden and a pick-me girl. Because in their heads only slaves to men would ever disagree with them.

All I can say is these are some horrible tattoos. Leopard print is trashy on anything, but as a tattoo it looks like an actual disease.

A lot of it comes down to being a terrible judge of character. He exudes confidence, strength, can fuck your brains out -> total infatuation despite all red flags.

The idea that good men are bad or okay in bed is a myth. If he's not doing something right, it takes a bit of communication to tell your partner what you like and dislike. If you want a man who came straight out of a womens romance novel, you'll always end up with fuckers who'll throw you out after they've used you.

Is dating over 30 really all about sex? It seems like after a certain point (and probably after a divorce) a lot of men stop wanting a serious relationship. At least among my friends I've noticed that trend of men over about 40 just focus on their careers and having lots of casual girlfriends half their age. I got married at 25, which I thought was late, but looking at how these people struggle at 30+ it's starting to feel like I married young.

Regardless of whether its staged or not, I love the things the judge said and I'm glad at least someone is willing to air any sort of criticism of single mums on TV.

Men who are ready to take a daddy role will do so by swiping left and fathering their own children.

Fair enough, I didn't consider she might be just referring to losing stability. I've come to expect the worst from these posts.

I'm sure she can recognize which parent is better, it's just if my dad (or stepdad) was about to leave because my mother is a cheating whore, my first concern wouldn't be "I won't be able to get driving lessons once he's gone". The text sounds a bit too focused on how she's going to lose resources.

I didn't mean that they can't see it, I meant I doubt that their first concern would be losing resources when their family is about to break apart.

Has to be fake, OP keeps going on about how "resourceful" the stepdad is, and how much he gives them. I can see the mum thinking along these lines when he's leaving, but not the kids.

Women always complain that older men are too immature because they don't want responsibility for someone else's kids. In a normal society nobody in their 40s and 50s should be single - you should have a family and adult kids at this point, or at least kids in college, so it's completely normal that they want to kick back and not just be starting a family. Divorcing and dating at such an age is an aberration and lonely single men and women are both sad, but successful men can handle it a bit bett…

My childhood friend lied to all her friends and family about being in an abusive relationship twice. Then it actually happened and nobody believed her 🤷

She looks like a 23 year-old who has been aged by life to look 47. So I'd say the profile is correct.

While I wouldn't expect to find a relationship on tinder her bio is to the point and doesn't really give off a "where are all the good men" feel.

Men and women just aren't meant to have a "cherished" friendship. It doesn't matter how much it's pushed by media, and how much girls want orbiters, straight men and women will never have true friendships.

My engagement ring costs just under £100 and the stone is sapphire. We couldn't afford anything more than that, but even if we did I wouldn't be able to justify spending hundreds or thousands on a single ring.

The closest thing to me witnessing this was a coworker. He moved in with an obese single mum and he bonded with her kids so well that they were calling him daddy soon enough. Then one night they had an argument, girlfriend's mom called the police saying he was violent and he was immediately kicked out of his house. He wasn't allowed to go anywhere near them, his phone was taken by the police, and he was pretty much homeless for months living in shitty houseshares with random immigrants. Whilst s…
