A good 80-90% at least. However, that's the downfall of being the one who carries the baby. If men were like seahorses, the conversation would be the other way. People hardly count it as a mistake when a man knocks up a woman and walks away. It's like they're just expected to not be responsible and that's supposed to be a good thing.

But was it their number? I've had this 'work' plenty of times... and I always gave them a fake number.

I often quite enjoy conversations with guys that I have zero intention of engaging with sexually or romantically. Yes, even if they're ugly as sin or smell bad. When the boyfriend/SO issue comes up early, usually to avoid surprising someone further down the line if they do start to catch feelings or want to bone. If I'm having a fun conversation with someone, it's pretty normal for my husband to come up anyway, because he's a constant part of my life and the things I do in it. If me having a hus…

Ah, here we go, here's a good example of what men who catcall look like, regardless of their actual physical attractiveness.

All I have are anecdotes from myself and other females that I know. Those anecdotes tell me that it's never worked, as not a single, solitary one of them would even deign to speak to someone who had just previously catcalled them, much less allow them into the Batcave.

To the gym first. Then to whatever social club caters to his particular hobby passions. Then enjoy the things you enjoy doing, and eventually you'll probably find someone who enjoys doing it with you. If not, you're still doing the things you like to do, learning more about people and interacting. Treat people you meet with respect, even if you don't necessarily like them.

If you are really friends with someone, and really enjoy their company beyond just the desire to fuck them, is it really necessary to completely abandon an otherwise totally fun friendship? It's ok to be attracted to someone and have all parties knowing never act on it as long as everyone can be mature about it. I've found myself attracted to male friends before, and I'll probably always be pretty attracted to my best friend (and he to me), but that doesn't outweigh the power of our actual frien…

A lot of extremely physically attractive people turn straight up repulsive the moment they open their mouth. Being in a relationship is more than just looking at a person like they are in a catalog. You have to actually interact with them, with words and actions and such. Being good looking doesn't mean they aren't going to be a giant pain in the ass. A poster on the wall knows just when to shut the hell up. A good looking moron just keeps on yapping. A nice looking face means little when all yo…

Never. The answer is 3. They were a very deliberate 3. I regret none of the 3. I would not want more than the 3. I still care deeply for each of the 3. I have no reason to lie about any of it because I have nothing to be embarrassed by and am not worried about the judgement of others in regard to whose organs I've temporarily hosted.

I suppose they can, but then it's a matter of how you feel about used goods. Personally I like to know that a piece of equipment has been running for a long time and can be repaired and maintained indefinitely, as it means that there's a good chance that I can keep it running even longer and getting good use out of it. None of this shiny, fragile Walmart crap that you're just supposed to throw out and replace when the paint begins to chip.

How about "I'm creeped out by people who are so completely inept in dealing with other normal human beings that they are probably dangerous in a very not sexy way and that's the reason no one wants to be around them, so I too will take caution." Creepy is a lot shorter.

Convenience, temporary place holder. A safety line in case it turns out that they're really unattractive in some way and can't get the thing they really want, so they settle for what they can get. Some people really like the thought of having the freedom to keep their options open, but they seldom think it's very nice when it turns out that they are the default option and not the luxury model.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/16 08:51 PM

Oh, another stoic taoist perhaps? We're friends now. Deal with it. I will have to check out As a Man Thinketh. RP seems to be more about looking stoic than actually being stoic. By its nature, it fails stoicism right out of the gate because these people are allowing their emotions and base desires to control them and affect their lives. I cringe to say it, but I think MGTOW is probably closer to functional stoicism than RP could be. Really, I think Taoism and Stoicism together pretty much make m…

I think your biggest mistake may be in confusing 'knowing a lot in your field' with actual intelligence. Knowing something you have studied is not intelligence. The ability to apply the knowledge is intelligence. I'm the only one I know, but I won't deny that. But then again, 'weirdness' really just means 'difference I don't understand'. I usually think allosexual people are baffling and weird as shit, but that's just people. Anyone who says they are 'normal' is just waving red flags.

That doesn't really have anything to do with asexuality though. People being anxious and therefore unattractive as partners isn't what makes someone asexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/16 01:11 AM

Sexual desire is the wrong way to put it. Being a spectrum, it's all over the board between individuals. There is a difference between sexual desire and sexual attraction. Some asexuals may only be capable of one or the other. They are still human, and still have physical urges often enough, and even act on them. The hardware still works, but the software is not compatible without massive firmware tweaks. Asexuals still often respond to pornography in a physical way. But that doesn't mean they a…

I am asexual, and have anxiety, but they are not quite related. My anxiety isn't what prevents me from being able to feel attraction, it would just be a reason someone wouldn't act on an attraction. Even in times when I have nothing in my life that is anxiety inducing, it does not change anything.

Pretty much everything that's not going to an office to pull a paycheck with benefits. I get home and get to relax entirely. No more work unless I want it. If women can't teach because of that, then men most definitely should not allowed to teach. Because the few who have shown that they are not capable of controlling their primal urges goes to show that no man can be trusted around our offspring.

(i) Acceptable to whom? That probably depends on who you are and want to be. If you are fine with being a generally shitty human being who most people would love to set on fire if they ever found out what you really are and will never experience actual love and devotion, then sure. Humans still have instincts, and certain things kick them right off. People don't generally get called creepy just for looking hot and trying to pick up chicks. The dude is good looking, for sure. But if he came up and started saying a bunch of weird shit, or touching me, or staring at me, and continuing to do so despite me being obviously unwelcoming to it, then I'll find him creepy. It's understandable. It's understandable on both ends. I understand having to BE a bitch when turning someone down. It's not fun. It's not pleasant. Doesn't make me feel good. I don't like making people feel bad, but then again, I also don't just go out with someone because they are there. Me being generally friendly often gets misconstrued as 'interest', which it is most definitely not. I think they should, but only if they are capable of meeting the same fitness standards as everyone else. Also I think if they are going to be on the front line, they should have their entire group be made up of women. It's worked in the past in some other countries, to deadly effectiveness. Seems silly to not use what assets we already have just because we're too wimpy to organize it the way it should be.

Selfishness is not a crime. He was selfish in ending the lives of strangers and ruining the lives of their families. Neither you nor him are owed a single glance or word from any other being just because you exist. I'm going to venture a guess here in looking through the RP looking glass, and say that it's probably some biological thing going on in which she is subconsciously looking for a physically strong mate to produce physically strong offspring, but after that what she needs is a stable provider that doesn't equate to a grown up child and makes her want to set her hair on fire every day.

Act like an asshole and get called out for being an asshole? How could this be... It's almost like... like women don't actually like being treated like shit from assholes? Dunno, just a thought. The reason this is seeming like a childhood relationship is because you're literally playing games. What the fuck do you think that is, mature behavior? No, it's kid shit. So you aren't attractive as a plaything to her. She can afford to be picky, either because she knows she can get better, or she doesn't really care as much as you do. It's not that it's a sad world, it's that you just don't rise to the level of competition in her eyes. You're 'a guy on the internet', you already have a negative value, and are entirely replaceable with a more ideal specimen, which is probably another click away. Times like this are good for reminding people the difference between the FA and the Incel boards. The FA boards tend to be sad, but reasonable for the most part, and often with people actually trying to help themselves out of their situations, with others congratulating and encouraging them when they do. A lot more introspective. The Incel boards are a fetid sewer that would make Pennywise the Clown nope out.

TPB is a satire sub. That seems like it should kind of explain itself. When SNL lampoons Donald Trump, it's not because they really think he's a neutral or positive thing. They think it's ridiculous and laughable, and worth posting about to point and laugh. That's why the very question of 'are you red pill or blue pill' seems so silly to me. It's just asking "Are you RP, or do you enjoy making fun of them?".

Yes. These games are for children. You've been married for 20 years. Grow up. You've already stated how completely replaceable you are, you don't have that kind of leverage, and do you really think making her suspicious and hurt is going to make her love you more after all this time? Would some extra chore/maintenance sex make you feel more secure in your marriage?
/r/askMRP24/09/16 12:26 AM

So you marry a woman who makes you happy, who you apparently make happy. At 2-3 times a week, you don't feel like you're getting the sex you deserve and feel disrespected. So instead of trying to work with her, your wife, your supposed partner for supposed life you... follow the advice of a bunch of strangers on the internet who proceed to convince you to stop treating your partner like a partner, but someone who owes you something and should be mentally manipulated into giving it to you. I think it would be the opposite, myself. There was a thread on FA the other day, polling as to whether someone would be interested in a lifelong relationship that was with a super model, all great sex, but no love, or a lifelong relationship full of love, with no sex ever. The majority went with love, and had very good and logical reasoning for that. FA is a little better than incel. Most of the FA ones at least still have a semblance of decency and humanity that probably could be fixed a bit, even if just by a regular old friend and not necessarily a 14 year old Japanese super model ala the incels. To recover fully, sure. But to recover fully takes even longer than our current leave laws require. Also, it's a lot harder to recover when you are alone with a baby that you just gave birth to. The father should have the choice to be there to care for them both.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/16 02:41 AM
6

Depends on how you quantify need. Many parents would argue strongly that they do indeed need to be there to bond with their baby. To that end, women don't even really need that much time themselves, normally. Give them two weeks and kick their lazy asses back to work! /s
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/16 02:36 AM

Yes. It's beneficial in other countries, not sure why it wouldn't be here. Fathers may not have to go through the physical bullshit, but if they're a good mate they should at least be able to be there for the mother and the new child. Babies are exhausting, and dads also deserve that time to bond.

Different strokes for different folks, that's how. Just because someone is 'alpha' doesn't necessarily mean they don't like tied up with a finger in their butt. All bets are off for sexy times.

Why women? Why should a promiscuous woman be treated differently than a promiscuous man? They both liked sex, they went and got sex. The concept of anyone deserving anything is irrelevant, and does not actually exist beyond getting an allowance from your parents.

Pretty much. If AWALT, then AMALT. So if all women act the same on a basic level, then one can only ever assume that all men are violent rapists just under the surface trying to pretend they aren't. Now, I know not ALL RPers really believe all women are the same, but any that actually do - yeah, I'm pretty sure they'd rape someone if they thought they could get away with it.

You're not supposed to give them the pass. You just hand it to them, and they punch it like one of those cards you get at a sandwich shop. After your 12th punch, you get called a whore for free.

Feminism has gotten a bit out of hand, as far as those who claim themselves to be feminists. True feminists want equality for all parties. Jobs, justice, everything. Good for the goose, good for the gander. Anyone who wants to set some sort of double standard just based on what's in your pants is not a feminist. So yeah, a man with a spine can be a feminist. I would go as far as to say that ONLY a man with a spine can be a feminist.

I don't hate people who consider themselves incels, but I do hate certain traits that they seem to come equipped with in most situations. Can't can't cant -no matter what someone suggests to someone who considers themselves an incel, even if they want to change, they will batten down the hatches on any sort of effort whatsoever and refuse anything on the belief that whatever it is, they are simply 100% incapable of doing it. There are a thousand different excuses that almost always fall down to …

Just as with the actual question you are really asking, I would not blame you for being robbed, but I would be able to offer some strong points on how it could have been prevented, and could be prevented in the future, and have it be a cautionary tale to others as to why they should be careful about that sort of thing.

Stop looking for pity. Pity is not care. Pity is not love. Pity is not positive. Pity will not help you. I've never considered anyone in real life an incel because it's a thing that the internet made up.

Yes probably. Was too dumbfounded. Took a long time to put down those five characters. I worked really hard.

Her error was in going back to you after you made it quite clear that you were not really worth hanging on to. That's all you're going to make her see as the 'error of her ways', and she'll be right. What do you provide to her that she couldn't get anywhere else at higher quality?

"My wife hates that I'm a shitty human being, I guess I should..... double down? Yes definitely." If you're really as awesome as you think you are, don't worry about what she thinks. Go do your own thing. If you're really so irreplaceable in her life, put that to the test.

It makes it really easy when dealing with people like that. If someone assumes that I'm like 'all women', and just a sum of basic stereotypes, then I know to assume that they are the types of idiots shown in infomercials who would rape anything they think they can fit their dick into, and have a brain case filled with nothing but stale beer, old semen, and bitter insecurity. But since I know I'm not the stereotype of 'all women', I won't assume that of anyone who doesn't first try to peg me as a…

lol, even if they could locate and interest one, they wouldn't have their time entertained even long enough to be considered 'dating'.

I have the same feeling toward RP as I do toward incel. I don't find them frightening, because they have nothing to do with me, and if they did, they simply wouldn't for very long. It's like being afraid of a yapping chihuahua. Sure, you keep your fingers away from their mouths, but their 'scary' barking really only impresses themselves, and behind that barking, is just trembling. The only difference is that one philosophy basically tells you to be/act 'irrationally self confident', even if you …
