Take ballet classes, and read Fascinating Womanhood for the Timeless Woman by Dixie Andelin Forsyth. Fascinating Womanhood also has wonderful YouTube videos on exactly this topic, and an active Facebook group.

Check out Evie Magazine. It’s great! It’s online with the option to buy the once yearly print magazine.

Just be aware that Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood is not one of the books written by the original author (Helen Andelin) or her daughter (Dixie Andelin Forsyth). The “Secrets” book was written by David Coory, who has nothing to do with the family. I haven’t read that one, so I can’t comment on the content. I highly recommend reading the books by the Andelin/Forsyth ladies! 💖

Fascinating Womanhood by Dixie Andelin Forsyth (or the original version, written in the 1960s by her mother Helen Andelin). Two versions of it by Dixie are available on Audible. One is Fascinating Womanhood for the Timeless Woman, and the other is Fascinating Womanhood for the Christian Woman, which includes scripture and biblical references. There’s also a Fascinating Womanhood YouTube channel with TONS of content.

Just give him an honest apology. As for “strategy”, you have to commit, mostly to yourself, to being better. I recommend reading Fascinating Womanhood for the Timeless Woman by Dixie Andelin Forsyth, and The Surrendered Single by Laura Doyle.

I agree that you need to decide what your motivation is for going to see him before you go. I think he should pay for the flight if you go. Just as a cautionary tale: Years ago I broke up from a long term relationship, and had stayed in touch with a (male) friend from high school over the years (he is just a friend - not an ex boyfriend). At the time, that friend called to say he was coming back to our home state to visit his family. He had moved across the country a few years before that. He in…

I’m a stepdaughter to two wonderful stepparents! My parents divorced when I was about 5. They were high school sweethearts who married and had me a few years later. They were just too young and grew apart. My stepmom came into my father’s life when I was about 8. They married a few years later and had two children together. My mother also remarried and had more children. Everything worked out fine! My parents did have to speak sometimes to co-parent me, but after I turned 18 they rarely spoke. M…

Traditionally, an engagement ring price was three months worth of the man’s salary, so he would save up and show that he was committed, financially stable enough to take care of her and a future family, and truly valued her love. HOWEVER, that was something that was created by the diamond industry, specifically DeBeers in the 1930s, and times have changed! If you love that $100 ring, just tell him you really love it and would love to have it! Let him make you happy. Mine cost quite a bit more, b…

This is exactly what I was going to suggest too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
