Just wanted to point out that the .44 magnum was NOT ever the "most powerful handgun in the world", it's just a quote from dirty Harry that wasn't even accurate then. I agree with you on everything else though, just wanted to dispel this myth. There are plenty more powerful cartridges and handgun platforms out there.
