That is a really crass view of the reason us gay people want/ed proper legal marriage too. They/we did just want the same rights afforded straight couples in terms of the relationship validation and consideration. It’s a bit mean-spirited to say.

There has been a lot of progress using mentalisation-based behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy. I say this as someone with controlled BPD who has been through therapy who works with many patients who coincidentally often have BPD themselves. Though we don’t really like using that term anymore.

This girl is a total hypocrite but can we not actually insult people based on weight? It totally detracts from the point.

I’m uncut (and don’t sleep with women, just for the context) but for me and all the guys I’ve been with similarly it’s more that the sensation after cumming is unbearably sensitive. It’s insane. Like you can’t bear to have it touched. Do not stick it back in. Do not massage. Do not collect 200 pounds of cringing away in sensory overload. For me and a lot of other uncut guys, the refractory period is how long it takes for that to stop being so sensitive combined with desire, not necessarily an is…

I think the point the person above you is trying to make is that while something can be the law, it doesn’t automatically mean that that law is right or morally correct. For example when and where I was born, there were still legal provisions that would have convicted me and had me on a sex offender register for having a gay relationship, something I have done many times in my adult life. Does that make the law right? Of course not. This is a different situation, naturally, but I think they were…

Exactly. What a shit. Imagine asking people to record you breaking up with and hurting someone for fun on social media. So fucked up.

Ahhh yes. It’s totally “because you’re white”. Keep telling yourself that more hen.

Yeah. It’s super annoying. I do, however enjoy this parody of it from a YouTube meme mom.

There’s a veritable library of words that if said in a video get automatically flagged and either cause a strike, a specific banner on the video, don’t let you collect the revenue off it or demonetise it completely. All the usual suspect words but even stuff like Covid-19 and even “pandemic” can cause issues in certain contexts. It’s why you’ll see a lot of you tubers saying stuff like “During this year’s panoramic/Panda Express/Pancake/Panini due to corvid/coded/corded” and stuff. Which is fuck…

I’m European. To me it’s simple: do you think of your close family in a sexual manner? Of course you don’t. That’s why it’s not weird. Wow. A naked body. How revolutionary. I feel like some adults need to grow up.

I saw my mum and sister naked all the time until I was in my early teens. When we went on holiday we’d all share a room and bathroom even when I was 16. There’s be token “holding this towel vaguely in front of self” stuff but it was never really serious and just that - token. I’m from Scotland and I know that most of Europe is even more liberal in terms of this. The fact that Americans especially see nudity amongst family members as somehow sexual says more about them than it does those who aren…

Am I the only one who thinks this was maybe taken out of context perhaps? I know that I mutter profanities and such when there are people revving and stuff on the road like they’re playing F1. Was it necessarily directed at her?

You can really see the moment that she realised that she fucked up. All that panic and unsafe feeling really disappeared then didn’t it? She even hung up because she knew she was going to drop the act. I actually felt sorry for her at first because I know that this scenario has probably happened to plenty of people in the scenario she initially “claimed” who were in such a circumstance. Around the 12m Mark I saw her true colours start to show. What a cunt.

I got banned eternally from them for literally commenting and arguing against a post on TumblrInAction. The thing about the extreme left and extreme right is this: you can turn far enough to the left or far enough to the right and you’ll end up facing the same direction. And it’s backwards.

I’m from the UK. I know fine well what it’s like. I take issue with the unequal reporting bias based on gender (evidently what you’re talking about here). This is wrong in general. I don’t care if a man did it to a woman or vice versa. It’s still wrong. When it comes to egalitarianism on a principle I believe in always trying to help the lower one up, not bring the higher one down to create parity. In this scenario, we should indeed point out that she is receiving a benefit based on gender here,…

This is based not only on my own experience of over a decade dating scores of guys but on multiple conversations with my many dozens of gay male friends who have themselves dated many scores of guys. It seems consensus. Are you gay? Is the culture perhaps different where you live if you are? Do you believe it shouldn’t be that way?

There’s nothing wrong with two adults with 33 years difference marrying in my opinion. If that is what they want. I am defensive critical of people abusing emotions and good-will, sexually exploiting and scamming lonely, vulnerable people for money and leaving them destitute or effectively cheating them out of their life’s savings. I agree that it happens to men a lot and doesn’t hit the headlines. How would you feel if it did? The fact that it’s happening to a woman instead of a man doesn’t mak…

This blows my mind in general. I’m a gay man, so gender equality isn’t even assumed - it’s absolute. If someone even tries to buy me a drink, it’s embarrassing and involves quite a bit of argument. A guy I knew that was a doctor several levels up the chain from me paying for dinner himself even involved at least 4 rounds of argument before I conceded only because he insisted it was his treat this once and I knew that he made more than I did by a large margin. I was ready and willing to pay my pa…

I’ve seen a few videos of this couple. They’re toxic assholes that exacerbate their dysfunctional relationship for attention. There’s a video out there of them high as kites with him fucking here while she’s bawling her eyes out crying and stuff. It’s really disturbing.

I actually think this is pretty tragic and shitty. Obviously she was an idiot to do this sort of thing, but lonely people (man, woman or any variation thereupon) fall victim to this sort of shit all the time. This is the result of a gullible lonely person and it happens to people across the gender spectrum. Wherever there’s a mark, there’s a scammer’s market. My late uncle fell to a similar sort of thing with a Chinese woman in his elder years and he was otherwise a razor sharp intelligent man. …

It’s also often porn of a particular semi or actual celebrity person. For example amongst the gay community, certain celebrities from drag race and gay cultural things make huge money off of it. You see this hot, talented person of your minority and fantasise about what’s under that particular personal persona. It’s not about a body - it’s about them. I don’t use OF at all but I can understand the attraction, as there are certain drag race guys that are 👌🏻Noice and have one. I imagine it’s the s…

That cartel video. Is it the one I’m thinking of that was once on a certain Reddit sub once that also involves amputations? I thought that I was capable of dealing with gruesome death videos and looked on that sub at like car crash type stuff. Came across it as a NSFL post and thought I could handle it. I couldn’t. I never went back to that sub or liveleak again. I really realised how fucked up things were there that day.

That’s an interesting point. I was a straight A student (was our version of valedictorian) and everyone knew it. I know of a few occasions where teachers singled out my work for praise or were lenient on mistakes since they knew that they were genuine human errors instead of educational gaps. I wonder if they ever did that for stuff that counted towards grades or coursework. (Definitely not my physics teacher though: he once struck my entire points for a question worth 25% of the paper for makin…

You just reminded me of when I was 18 with practically no body fat and gave the illusion of abs without any exercise. God, youth was so blessed. I hate the late 20s.

I think I have one up on you (weird flex I think? Ugh) and I’m quite pissed at it too. I would like, personally, to have receipts of these arguments but I don’t necessarily need them as I grew up in a female-dominated environment where I was taught that males are practically a second-class species and that I “so resembled! 😀” all of those horrendous examples I was told about. I don’t doubt people thinking this exist - I’m curious about the prevalence.

I think you misread. In the UK, unfair dismissals often have policies of working at a place for a certain length of time. In this case: 2+ years. Otherwise it can be potentially a dispute on performance or short term employment.

Can confirm. I went to medical school and there were some utter fucking plonkers there. I remember being in an ethics class where they were all agreeing that this hypothetical “single mother with one child already who is pregnant, part-time working/unemployed in a deprived area of my city” would be better off getting an abortion because the child would have “poor prospects and little chance of success”. The hypothetical scenario applied almost exactly to my childhood and life. I went ballistic a…

I think there is as patriarchy an that some women suffered and still do in some places because of it, but it is often a complex issue and not “men” vs “women”, but an ancient system that can harm and brainwash both. Disclaimer aside, in Star Trek there are a species of violent pirate slavers who enslave their own women and force them to be prostitutes etc. It’s later discovered that the women are smarter and in control entirely, and they allow the men and other races to think so so that they can…

I was bullied mercilessly at school by both guys and girls. I was poor. I was gay. I did well in school (which was considered socially unacceptable if you weren’t popular) and I was a “teacher’s pet”. The boys were bad. They’d line up with their backs against the walls jeering as I went past to “protect their asses from the poofter” and some of them would beat me up after school daily. Perhaps it was for the best because I ended up taking every possible extracurricular every day of the week to a…

Can you please give examples as to which TV shows and episodes do you mean in particular? Please note, I'm a gay intactivist (I find circumcision absolutely abhorrent but I am quite curious as to what you're referencing; I find such normalisations disturbing .)
