2	What's keeping women from video game development and STEM? Other women afraid of meritocracy. Usually some science course of your choice. I had to take three physics classes and a chemistry class, but they recently changed the requirements at my university because surprise surprise those have little to do with computer science, which you can learn no problem as long as you have the mathematics. I don't know, I think he restates why he's writing it too much and also guilts readers into reading the whole thing with stats on probability that readers will finish the article. The article could be a lot shorter or more rich with content. Well-written and concise? So much pressure would need to be applied to balance the gender populations in computer science programs... women would have to be favored so much to the point where getting the degree would be much easier, requiring less rigorous training, and thus inevitably giving some incompetent students degrees. The player base statistic doesn't account for activity does it? One female in every game on average would only be true if everyone played the same amount of time. Pre-Civil War, white men had the right to own slaves, but post-Civil War, they didn't.
