Personal sampling estimate. Yeah, that means it is still an anecdote, but better than conjecture and there aren't any better sources saying otheriwse. He had sex with someone who didn't give consent. A 12 year old cannot give consent. Them lying doesn't change that they didn't give consent. Lucky for him this court happened to draw a distinction between having sex without consent and meaning to have sex without consent% and determined that the lack of intent was enough to mean he isn't guilty. Not a stretch at all. The reason people think all 12 year olds look 12 is because most any 12 year old who looks 18 they think is 18 and don't think otherwise and if they know someone is 12 they automatically don't see them as being older. If you take random photos of 12 and 18 year olds and mix them up and have people try to guess, you'll easily see 1 in 20 12 year olds being labeled 18. 5% is a lot when you consider just how many 12 year olds there are.

For the vast majority forcing someone to pay is forcing them to use their body against their will. Few people are rich enough to live off of passive income. Also, we violate bodily autonomy all the time in numerous incidents. When you are arrested and take to jail and have a cavity search done, that is a massive violation of bodily autonomy. Best interest of the child would be to force a rich person to be a parent. Given the rich person consented to parenthood as much as the father, it would be just as fair. Also notice all the options women have after birth to give up an infant, many which hamper the father from being able to get custody. Finally, forcing someone to support a child is a violation of their bodily autonomy.

Simple way to determine: threaten something illegal would need coercion and thus sexual assault/rape. Threatening something legal is not, though it is likely a sign of an unhealthy relationship. If someone threatens to breakup if their SO doesn't have sex, there is nothing wrong (other than their relationship having problems). If they threaten to beat up the other person, that would be coercion and thus invalidate any consent given.
