Horseshoe theory. They have gotten so far from they started this where we are at. Pretty much what I'm saying is you try apply the same rules then they go apeshit because yeah it sucks and they don't realize it because they don't have to follow it

Just because they have, more money does not mean they make good content. In fact, I'd argue it's the opposite to an extent. The broader you make your film the less impact it has, this can be seen with the marvel movies in particular. Huge success but it is so formulaic and bland that I would not consider it a good thing overall. In addition, I don't see this mentality across the board, should every game, movie, comic, music, art piece try to appeal to the biggest audience possible? It sounds goo…

From a US perspective It kinda depends how into it you are. Movies are roughly 50/50 however comics, tv shows and games become a bit more divided.

Well aside from the whole being illegal part it's exactly that mentality that got us in this state This is a huge double standard and I would like some consistency, this is the world they wanted to live in so we have to enforce it. If you keep dropping every issue then how will they ever see how terrible it is? I only see one gender being forced to follow these rules

Why is more women being interested super heroes a good thing? I hear this mantra chanted all the time but there never seems to be any reasoning

It's extremely common in the US.

You would have to be a "fukin autist" to think they aren't comparable. Explain how they aren't comparable. What's the difference? Every doctor and study has shown they are basically on par it's just one is socially acceptable. Like I said you seem very strong willed for someone who can't provide a single argument.

You seem really strong willed for someone who clearly have zero knowledge on the subject. Equivalent to cutting fingernails? What?!? If it's such a minor detail then why haven't you gotten circumcised? I have had adult friends who were circumcised later in life and say there is a huge difference so don't give me that.

Punch doesn't = unconscious. It's a serious offense and I never condone violence but if you're spitting you should expect the possibility of getting punched.

I think you're underestimating how big of a deal it is to spit in someone's face. What if he just started French kissing her without her consent? You think that's alright people will just think he's an asshole? There would be a much bigger reaction even though they are roughly the same act.

Even if I 100% agree with you that doesn't change that they want equality. If they want all the pros of equality I think it's about damn time they have some of the cons

Been a lot of comments since I originally posted and haven't gone through them all but I don't see how any of this is bashing or hating. As people have said (the comment originally being replied to) it is factually accurate that women have more tangible advantages than men yet in general they claim they are the most oppressed. Jennifer Lawrence seems to be a pretty big example of this. The situation is pretty hostile already, I agree being hostile back isn't the ideal choice and maybe you read m…

I know exactly where you are coming from because that's where I've been like I've said for years. I think many people here have had the same mentality. The point is this strategy hasn't really had any affect. Tell anyone you're a men's right activist in real life and see what the reaction is. Look how anyone in the media portrays MRAs. Not only is it not working, it's actually getting worse. Every year it gets decidedly worse. At a certain point you have to see that it's not working. I agree wit…

I have been on this sub for years too, not advocating hating women but the playing safe and trying to be right in the middle hasn't gotten us anywhere. Every year it gets worse, MUCH worse. Maybe it's time to start calling them out more aggressively, of course not all women are but if I'm going to get called out for being privileged why can't we do the same? fight fire with fire.

I remember when I was in highschool my mom asked me why I didn't want to be become a teacher, for this exact reason and it only got worse since.

Seems they are pretty content with men being miserable. It won't change until it affects them. They are abusing a broken system to make men miserable and like I said it continually gets worse. How do you show a system is broken? By literally showing how it's broken and how it can affect them
/r/MensRights17/01/16 12:57 AM

You gotta fight fire with fire. I think for the past 5 years or so we have tried to be above it only to see it get radically worse every day. The only way they will see the problem is if we make it as miserable as they have made it for us.

Then they should be extra careful. If I knew I had weak bones for example I would be extra careful not to get into a conflict.

Ideally yes I agree with you. However things aren't getting better or even staying where they are at, it is getting worse and worse. I think it's pretty clear that people don't really care until it affects women. How do you show the system is broken? Abuse it and break it like they are currently doing. What you are saying we shouldn't do is already happening but to only one side. I don't like it but it seems fighting fire with fire is the only way to fix the problems in the first place.

I think there is a difference between having parallels and following the same plot pretty much beat for beat. When I saw zero trailers but knew exactly what would happen only 30 min in then there is a problem. Even for episode 3 where I knew where it would end up I couldn't guess exactly what was going to happen like 7.

Haha really? Oh my god. How can you think a rehash of the original movie is better than all the others?

I'm not saying lube can't be nice for certain things but I don't see it in any way shape or form necessary. Was not saying you can't enjoy it just stating I think you are the odd man out on that if your under 40. Anecdotal evidence but I don't know anyone that uses lube on a regular basis.

No one is saying your opinion or choice is wrong. To do it to an infant who can't choose IS wrong. When you turn 18 you can cut it off for all I care but I think the consensus here is there is no debate when it comes to an infant and to argue otherwise is in the same logic of FGM.

What?! Having sex without lube is wrong? Why are you doing in your bedroom? Maybe in your 40s but I have never needed lube. Foreskin by the way helps with lubrication. They didn't have lube 500 years ago, it isn't necessary. I see why it would be nice to have for some situations but to say sex without it is wrong makes me question what you're doing entirely.

Oddly enough none of those sources specifically say sanctions were an act of war. At best they say the Japanese considered it because of their pride, still doesn't mean that sanctions are a literal act of war. In your own articles it lists how they did embargo's and eventually ceased all trade with them. That isn't sancations, there were a lot of factors going on here and your sources barely mention Japan's side as what Japan itself was doing. Like I said Britian was the ally to the US and Japan…

Sanctions are not acts of war. They did not have to want to invade the US to consider them an enemy. The US had tons of naval bases across the Pacific that were very desirable. There were two main powers in the Pacific during its height of Japan, Japan being one and the US being the other. Japan wanted control of the Pacific so it was inevitable. Japan didn't want to invade Britian itself either but that didn't stop it from taking over all of their bases and trade ports. Britian was an ally to U…

Considering they were allies to Germany and were brutally invading everything around them it was pretty justified. Also Japan was at war with Britain, the US's ally. In that context it would be crazy if they didn't put any sanctions on them. People like to make it seem that US was provoking them on purpose to enter the war but Japan had their eye on the US long before that.

Of course it is different depending on where it is being done but most cases I have seen it is the mothers pushing them into it. Don't look at the 1% of cases and pretend that's the norm.

This isn't a win. It looks like she is being forced out because she was a cunt to everyone there. It seems there were no consequences for her literally discriminating against white men. This is for other reasons, still a loss to us in my eyes.

This is going to be very important. Depending on how the school reacts and how the feminists groups themselves react. It's going to show us how bad it really is, this is a huge wake up call and can't be ignored and has to be addressed. No matter what feminists do, having someone commit suicide is way worse for a school. If this isn't a sign that things have gone too far then nothing is. If this doesn't get them to reevaluate what they are doing then I think we are past a point. I won't want to b…

In terms of men's rights and feminism I would definitely say trump is our best bet. for the future overall condition of the country I would say trump is the furthest.

More like downfall. It's not pretty but these are the rules and how the game is played. Fight fire with fire, abuse the system in the same way then when it inconveniences women it will change.

I graduated just as they were putting these up and as I recall it was "mandatory" but not really. A freshman wouldn't really know they didn't have to go. But if people just stopped going I'm sure they would push for it to be actually mandatory (can't sign up for classes without doing it or something) I wouldn't be surprised at all if it lead to that.
