So they're being cheated on. Sounds like they need to do better, and identify and reject dudes more readily.

This comment thread seems to say 'sharing' a lot where it could say 'being cheated on'. If this is a self-reported survey, you could look at it as which genders WANT TO be in a committed relationship, vs. which genders want to deny they are in a committed relationship. If you take the percentages as given and assume people tend to couple up, you could say that more than half of the women could be doing better, as they are with cheaters or trying to lie to themselves about the stability and value…

Women like to share, but not that. Nope. You're overthinking it. This is headcanon.

This jumped out: "The Purple pill guys would not want the relationship I had with my wife because they are just boys that want girl toys and they don’t value the love that my wife and I had." Reading more about how you describe it, no: I don't. When I was in your shoes I eventually figured out that I had to sort out my own stuff that had me walking into relationships like that and calling it 'love'. I wish you luck and enough space you'll need to work any of this out: it's not easy. Or, in the a…

Could be a sort of love bombing tailored to certain kinds of men. Sure seems to be plenty of guys signing up, uncritically. Male version is, 'I will shower you with gifts, attention, and love'. It's all very well promising something very ingratiating, but (a) is that sincerely meant and (b) real?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 07:58 AM

Clementinequeen95 nailed it just above, though. Approaching isn't the problem. They're trying to figure out if, once you approach, you will refuse to leave. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether a guy will refuse to leave and refuse to take a no. Being crushed, in love, and mourning the loss of his one true love who has rejected him… counts as not taking a no! In the emotional world he is now heavy complicated baggage who is not carrying any of his own weight. This one got me real bad during my wh…

Fuck no. Absolutely not. Being a provider is for sex partners and part of a couple of a certain type. Nothing wrong with that but that's not what an opposite sex friendship is. Some of your examples aren't that kind of 'giving'. I'd accompany somebody home or help lift or reach things for anyone, male or female, to the extent I felt like it: I'm not keeping track, but I don't have to have huge reasons to say no thanks. 'hey can you get that' is no big imposition. Paying for stuff adds up. If you…

This is a complicated question. For the most part, I've been alone all my life because I'm an abuse survivor: near as I can work out I was a battered infant. My Mom absolutely forced my Dad to deal with his temper problem to the point where my two youngest siblings never experienced that, and all throughout childhood I was the scapegoat and took the brunt of family blame. Alone's safe. I've made big strides with being able to cope with other people, and big strides with being able to identify wh…

I certainly hope so! Women are NOT the only ones who need to be able to say no rather than settle.

Not even. In this context 'disagreeable' means 'he has a mind of his own and doesn't just say whatever he thinks you want to hear'. He's not placating, or giving you a snow-job. Agreeable would be a kind of submissiveness. I'm a man and I'm attracted to disagreeable women: you could call it 'spunky' or 'opinionated' or 'intelligent' if you assume a placating, gentle person can't be intelligent. I'm learning to also value gentleness. I guess it wouldn't be either 'he says no' or 'he says yes', th…

Yeah, I put 'women' in quotes because what I'm talking about is the only women redpillers and blackpillers are considering. They are trying to make an argument that all women are the same and then rationalizing it into a lot of creepy misogyny. Of course there are women who aren't anything like that. What I'm saying is that even for women who ARE attracted by manly men, there's a better explanation to be had, and creepy misogyny is still wrong :) Interestingly, the term 'sweet' is widely known t…

'Women' are attracted to disagreeable, and authoritative. That's not at all the same thing as misogyny. What people call simping is indeed a dis-attractant to 'women', but it's not because it's liking women, it's crawling and being subservient. The challenge with navigating female sexuality as a woman is that it's fine to want masculine males, but it's dangerous to just submit even if it's a turn-on, because there are a lot of crappy males out there and you don't want them. So you select and exp…

I probably have that and I completely agree that it sucks. The excitement doesn't outweigh how hollow and futile it is. You have to be real desperate to overlook all the negatives: people using each other like fleshlights and going, GTFO, after. I guess if you also never have friends you don't know what else you're missing?

This may be true: I can't speak for society. But I'm demisexual, so I find this take beyond stupid. Anywhere I go I'm a 6' man with a bunch of entitlement coupons that apparently mean I could rake in a pile of women if I'm not choosy, and comply with this societal standard. I can't imagine how tiresome that would be. I don't WANT most women. I'm offended at the idea that as a man and a desirable man, I should go have sex with a large number of women I don't know or like. It's bonkers. I refuse t…

Seriously. If you have friendships you can get some of this outside of sex. Woman energy is like a vitamin, good to be around especially if you don't get caught up in it too much, don't get immersed in the drama :) I find it very easy to believe that male energy is likewise for women. We as genders complement each other while never entirely understanding each other. It's kinda neat. I figure that's why pairbonding, and the formalization of that which is marriage, works. Without marriage, people …

If she is, I stand corrected and hope to never know any of you sad, creepy people, but the first thing that came to mind is 'no wonder she left'. I just want a person who gets me: I could do what you do, quite easily, and it seems as not worth the effort as you say marriage is. Take up bowling. Yes. Absolutely. The bigger questions are, does she exist, and are there additional things about her that are dealbreakers for me? It's not difficult for women to be attracted to me, but I'm not available unless I like 'em back and like their character.

mmmm… I'd rephrase that. If criticism means you're obliged to revise the boundaries if they're criticised loudly enough, nope. Boundaries are a good reason to have other boundaries around. It's good to be able to identify them in others, and tell what's negotiable and what's really not. If you can identify a boundary in another which is theirs, but makes you nope out of there, the correct response is NOT criticism (even in the aftermath!) but to nope the hell out of there. I have done this, not …

Being bonkers is not itself a crime ;) Are you prepared to know the law and keep your workforce small enough that you can do as you please? It's different if you're just you and three friends, versus you monopolizing the industry and being the only employer operating within your region. Are you prepared to stay local, agile and small, or is the goal to make 'bro force' beat out all your competition and put 'em out of business?

How big does it have to SCALE? I've been running a business for years that isn't obliged to hire women. I'm not obliged to hire anybody, it's just me. The more I scale, the more I become subject to labor practices. I'm subject to laws right now, but there aren't any that say 'you are a one-man business, first thing you must do is hire a woman before proceeding any further'. So how big do you reckon on SCALING that this is one of your conditions? Do you also feel a need to prohibit unionization o…

Ugly is also posture, carriage, self-care and grooming, masking… there's an awful lot of 'ugly' that is superfluous, or that grows like mold. At least half of severely 'ugly' is made of this stuff, that could be neutralized or reversed, or augmented. Blackpill is really, really bad about augmenting it, making blackpillers more ugly the darker their minds get. That's actually useful to know about: I know that as a guy grown up blue pilled, I tend to REQUIRE a woman's sex drive be active, not reactive. As such I'll have to wait for a cue and might be a long time waiting (or, need to be with a woman capable of being at least partly active). It's deeper than just training, I'm not attracted to the completely passive, I gotta see a spark and it excites me in turn, either a dead fish or a totally innocent naif are turn-offs to me. I'm not at all sure women as a rule CARE whether their man responds to them in that visceral way, into their body type etc. I'd like to think so, as I've got a type and would like to find that as a match, and have it considered an extra plus. I know the end result, getting horny, is desirable at the right times. But I'm really not sure the idea 'he is into my body type' works with women in general. The impression I get is that ANY generalization like that, is a serious negative. As if he has to …

They absolutely should! That would be fair and reasonable. And who knows whether a 5'8" and 8" guy would suddenly be able to interact with more confidence and less horrible toxicity from insecurity. I particularly like the idea of being able to ask about his knowledge of the clitoris, because it seems to me it requires effort to fail to know about something like that.

Even in pure redpillism there's an explanation for this and for her loving him, perhaps beyond all reason. Let's assume we're talking Andrew Tate style, dominate the woman and own her soul and bully her until she submits. Tate's not that big a guy but violent, a martial arts guy and jacked bodybuilder. He intimidates by aggression and muscle. Ever heard of the bear type? Let's suppose the fat and ugly guy is also a hairy dude. Maybe he's not a pile of goo, more like a keg of muscle, but you'll n…

That's the sort of experience that got me more red-tinged. I'd also spent some years in exercise, but more than that, hooked up with a lady who (with a little effort) was able to communicate what she wanted. And same deal, she wanted to be smacked, her hair pulled, Neanderthal crap. And it didn't stop her being smart and capable, that's just what got her off. As a rule, yes. There are plenty of exceptions to any rule but I cannot simply expect any woman to cope with my lifestyle unaltered, so I've got to make concessions and make an effort to be more sociable anytime I'm interacting with women.

I'm an autistic nerd who looks younger than my age, and got a lecture from my dad on the subject of the dangers of having a giant cock. (which it ain't, just one in 100: 'goldicock' zone, not record-setter). I can only assume they figured that out when I was stuck in church school in agony from getting boners trapped in jeans (bent my shit permanently, it has to fold to be stowed) All this was so humiliating and traumatic I just hid in fantasy and sci-fi and music and, later, drugs. Game in the sense you mean is a fundamental part of business and being entrepreneurial. I think maybe the PUAs perform game on women because they are failures in every other part of life and have nothing else… whether or not a woman authentically desires you, it is possible to manipulate and seek advantage in every respect until you've completely dominated her or driven her away. There is NO reason a human, especially in your most intimate relationship, has to seek every advantage all the time l…

Understandable. The suggestion is that, as a woman, you're hardwired to only want to be screwed by men who dominate everyone around them via capitalist means, and that this overrides everything else. In a very real sense this is subservient behavior: kowtowing to the dictates of capitalism and societal expectation, which is kind of beta if you think about it. Unable to dominate his tenants, the landlord uses the cops to bully them if they don't do what he wants. He becomes a sort of Jabba-like t…

A home is property and is a substantial deal these days. A career is a purpose in the world and evidence of some determination. Hobbies are a sign of a guy with a mind and will of his own doing stuff outside what he's told to do. Every single one of those things are still valid and register as arousing to women in the sense that they're masculine signifiers, indicating a man with means and ambition and ideas of his own. I disagree. The excuse would be, if you ONLY wanted the red-pillyest and most performatively masculine guys you could possibly find, but wanted to comb through them and find the one that would put in the most effort and work to win you, and only pick that one and discard the others. It's like a script for selecting only guys who are both well-off and unwilling to let women pick up the check for ego reasons, both extra horny and so infatuated by her in particular that they'll fight their way thro…

Even that can be taken in several ways. I've been in a lot of conversations with friends, especially in tough times, where everybody just falls silent and can't keep a conversation going to the point that it's unhappy and uncomfortable. There's a difference between feeding the guy rope to get him talking, and being in a situation where you both are ONLY allowed to talk about him and he refuses to tolerate or be interested in anything else. Marriage is nothing but codified pairbonding. As a man, I have to be putting up with a lot of abuse, conflict and nonsense before being in a pairbondy relationship with a woman DOESN'T feel natural and good, and I'll shrug a lot of stuff off before getting to the point of wanting out. I made that decision once and got out, and seriously entertained it a second time and got out. What if there's an autistic person who is not Einstein, but whose life is the building of a model train set? Einstein is a celebrity, but you can have all sorts of personal things to run with and not all of them will make you a celebrity. There absolutely are a lot of guys who like overweight or T&A women, to the point where it's obviously fine to go on about it. Those of us into your type have limited options. So the part I'm going to argue with is 'ladies have made up their minds within a first few seconds'. They're not automatons, dude. All us humans are far too prey to getting bullied by our instinctive reactions and rationalizations but this is NOT a gender-specific thing. Or, you can re-evaluate rather than just go despair over a game you never signed on for. I spent years being blackpilled and certain I would never find love or sex, but I just got creative and tried a lot of stuff. Try being metrosexual, try being gay, try not even bothering with the whole scene. See what you can tolerate and what you can't. I'm going to confirm the touchy-feely, though not as much 'open about their sexuality'. Because it looks to me like you have posted a thread unironically arguing that dark triad is the best way to be for attracting women (and eliciting long term committment and loyalty, which isn't itself bad for the women). I mean, I'm a sinner in ways you couldn't possibly imagine, but even I can tell that's fucked up :)

God had some things to say about evil, by your standards. Are you advocating for evil? Maybe you've got things a little mixed up.

They're celebrities. Be a celebrity, or outlier in pretty much any way, and watch your opportunities improve drastically no matter who you are. Literally no matter who you are, as your initial thesis proves. HOW your celebrity is achieved will govern how good or bad a partner you'll find, so choose wisely.

But then, sometimes the problem with the advice is that it's geared to taking otherwise normal people and making them MORE autistic in nature (yes, I'd say red-pill-isms tend towards self-absorption and autism). So for an autistic person, maybe some of that is more like self-acceptance in a healthy way. The trick is you then have to learn from the blue pill side because the red pill side specializes in being autistically forever-alone, even while fucking, as they do not acknowledge anything else…

Another person with autism here, answering. Because Red Pill combines significant observations about the human animal with deep, deep folly and lame rationalizations, and Blue Pill is so tied up with neurotypical assumptions about how people read social situations that it's literally impossible to do for an autistic person, but is a healthier way to behave. So, PurplePillDebate is perfect because it's full of people of all genders (mostly 'both' but I bet it's more inclusive than that), arguing …

Have you ever met an upper or mid level Amazon executive, or anybody who has worked for them or with them, or any of the upper level code monkeys who implement their wishes? I've never seen a red pill communist before :) for that matter, I've never seen a red piller be particularly concerned with capitalist exploitation. I disagree on several grounds. We don't seek intimacy and connection nearly as much as women do, and we're driven to sex more harshly. That isn't a better or worse thing, it's different. It's as much of a strength as it is a weakness. A man who swings heavily in the masculine direction is more disagreeable and less swayed by the need to fit in, and this can have positive outcomes when you need things done in new ways, when you need progress. Intimacy and connection end up being the next best thi…

Ah, but that's part of it. Being already in a relationship is like existence proof of sexual desirability: it's not that women want to be parts of harems, it is that finding good men is apparently so difficult that raiding other women who've found some, begins to look appealing. And women share more easily and socially interact more easily… so managing a seemingly bad situation becomes an acceptable loss. So yeah, a woman straight up tried to kiss you knowing you were in a relationship. Female e…

Big if true. Yikes. The word 'better' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Do you understand how little work boring and typical dude would have to do, to be doing better than the serial killer? He doesn't need 500 incredibly twisted and toxic women. He just needs one random boring woman and he'll be all set. It's nowhere near that hard unless you make it that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:32 PM

This is a seriously dumb argument, and here's why: You're being told that the serial killer is a celebrity. A random boring dude off the street is by definition not a celebrity. So, let's say a hundredth of the population is aware of the serial killer, maybe more, and like five people are aware of the boring dude. So, out of a million women aware of the serial killer, 500 of them get excited and want to bed him/fix him/whatever. And out of the five people who know the boring dude, nobody cares t…

This is legit. Not everybody likes that, but I think it is a male thing. I'm pretty sure that when women are into Spock, it's this that they mean. A man can be a lighthouse on a rock. That's deeply submissive, as a description, to the point of requiring a BDSM-like understanding. So what you're saying is that she REQUIRES you to put effort into being a responsible dominant, because if you don't she'll go so passive that her needs are not met. As long as you're okay with that, cool. It would be abusive toward me if it was me in that situation, which it isn't. Gay men are still horny. Trust me on this XD I honestly don't know if asexual men tend to be less driven to achievement. I would imagine there's at least some correlation. I don't think so. I think it's the same drive. I don't think it's 'for the sake of women' at all. It's just another manifestation of those energies. It's the same drive that has men who're already with a woman, chasing other tail they don't even need. It's the same if gay men have the same behavior, and they're not even chasing women. Rationalizations come after instinctual/hormonal drives, and managing those drives is a whole other thing. Reminds me of the stories of 'grass eater' guys in Japan…

I can't argue with this in the least. What I would add is this: life is funny, too! Being a big joke doesn't mean it has to be a mean-spirited joke. Think absurdity rather than 'hurtful prank on somebody'. Because the thing is, sometimes 'take it terribly, gravely serious!' is a red flag. We're all bozos on this bus. We do the best we can. Nah. Liberalism vs conservatism is basically egalatarianism vs hierarchy. You can be the manliest man-man ever, and still dedicate your life and use your courage to defend the group, the tribe, the herd if you like, especially the weakest, because your belief system is that doing this protecting is moral. Lying is a miserable way to exist, and it's ridiculous to choose it on purpose. No matter what color pill you are, 'goblin mode' is better. Be how you want to be, own it, live with it. Weaseling out of this is cowardly, and a guy making the arguments of OP is unmanly and weak.

What makes this tricky is that you HAVE to get to know (as a person) whoever you're ending up having sex with. Whether it's because you're a functioning human being who gives a shit about others, or simply for basic self-protection, you cannot do cold approach and then cold courtship and cold fucking and then cold harem-maintaining (even with just one woman at a time!). You just can't. It won't work. It's ridiculous and setting you up for failure and betrayal. So at what point do you open up? Kn…

Bah, everybody's lonely and bitter. I'm lonely and bitter. Welcome to 2023 XD The point is what you DO with that, and I take great issue with what Peterson's done with his damage. The less he matters, the better off we all are. He squandered the potential to be very decent and useful, and I've got no sympathy whatever. And you know, I don't personally find it all that funny, and I'm not mocking him. I am damned well condemning what he's done.

That's the only argument I have any sympathy for. I'm inclined to cut slack for people who are really, seriously, suffering. I'm inclined to yank that sympathy sharply back when the person turns around and lashes out at others over stuff that's very much their problem, particularly when they are platformed and have positions of power. Using your hurt to punch down is an explanation, not in any way an excuse. He needs to shape the heck up, and until he does, I figure mockery is fair. He would cer…

My concern here is, how do you know? I'm in recovery and go to meetings, typically with mixed male/female attendance (I'm really not interested in going to male-only meetings: I have enough maleness already and don't need any more). As such I've got upwards of thirty years of experience observing how women relate to the men in their lives, especially in conversation outside the meeting. It doesn't always make sense, how female desire works. It absolutely doesn't register as 'they seek money and …

You're flipping that with 'virtually ALL' and it seems like you don't really mean the 'virtually', that's hedging. You're out of your mind if you think 99 out of 100 women are looking for a good enough offer to flip their lives upside down and become cheaters. That's mighty trusting of them, given the low opinion women often have of men. As if men aren't constantly giving 'offers' that are pure bullshit, which …

Never seen 'seenzoned' before. Does that imply a class of women who're trying to online date, and expect to stumble across literal love at first sight from a profile picture? Hoo BOY do I NOT want to be the profile a woman like that fixates on. That's a terrible way to get involved with another person. Imagine trying to be with someone who was like 'I had second thoughts about all these other profiles I've seen and discarded, but I'm all in on you! Who are you, my forever love?'

Yeah, that's a weird way to frame it. Even the wildest, most promiscuous women I've ever known, don't seem to see it in that light. How is that a friend zone? On the one hand that's like an 'animal zone', to have sex with but not treat like a person, and on the other hand women are well known for refusing to believe such a thing. It seems like women are prone to believe any man they have sex with is capable of also being a friend, confidant, perhaps even reformed person, if only they tried hard enough. If I don't want to do something, I won't. Can't speak for you, but you're describing a sort of man who has to stay away from even being friendly with women because he has no boundaries and does whatever they say (and whatever his male friends say, too?) and assumes everybody else is just like him. Have boundaries, then you can be friends with anybody you like, male or female, and you don't have to be sucked in to anything you don't want to be.

That difference only exists in the man, I think, which makes it suspect. In this overall conversation, there's a big difference between if the rejecting woman is like 'ew, don't talk to me', or if she's been friendly and taking an interest and being sociable the whole time AS IF the guy was a friend, and then he turns on her because she won't fuck. You need to be able to separate affection from sexual desire, and quit thinking 'women' are just these brainless mechanisms pursuing sexual desire. It's just not that simple. I've recently left a relationship (well, in the last half-year) and I have multiple female friends through some shared interests. Since this isn't a CMV there's no problem with me simply agreeing. My argument with this view is as follows: strike the word 'girl' and replace it with 'human'. A lot of this has to do with humans being raised poorly and without support, affection etc. causing them to have very limited ability to extend it to others. You can't really give what you didn't have, though usually it's possible to do somewhat better with a bit of effort. If you think this is a vice having to do with women, you're insane. I'm going to guess it's when 'game' becomes the end, and it stops being about finding a mate and starts being about cutting notches to impress other men. Dunno. Or indeed think about other mens' dicks or even ride a few off into the sunset. Damn good way to lose virginity 'cos men are waaaay easier to pick up. If you're gay, then hey you might like that better, and life gets a lot easier not having to contend with the opposite gender. You'd have liked me on several grounds if you were around when I was your age, but would have had problems as I hadn't grown up yet. Also I might have flinched in the belief that you were waaaaay out of my league :) First order of business is continue taking care of yourself and avoid bitterness as best you can. You'll do fine :)

Depends on whether you mean capital M-Men. One of the most annoying and off-putting things about traditionally socialized men is a culture of heightened rivalry and machismo, where they are obligated to snipe at each other constantly and never tell each other positive things for fear of being called homosexuals, and must turn to exclusively women to get any positiveness at all, which they're not allowed to acknowledge. It's a screwed-up system. Produces desperate people trying frantically to ach…

No no. He would have to be specific. Average is bad, yes, but it's not simply one line, and the folks talking this way tend to assume it's literally one line from the worst ever, to 'Chad' and only 'Chad'. And that's not true at all, any more than it is for men being attracted to only 'Stacy'. Absolutely not true. He would have to be specific, not average. He has to be the best possible execution of whatever he's got going on. That means some fitness (but being insanely buff is one kind of extre…

I agree with this. I'd add that there are caveats: it has to be in a context where dating could make sense. Meeting women in your therapy group or recovery meetings isn't the answer because those are things where you have more important business that shouldn't be undermined. It's also a waste of time to manufacture stuff you don't want to do, just for the purpose of meeting people. I feel like that can be misleading. Clearly there needs to be a social activity that's only undertaken by men and w…

Oh my sweet summer child XD USENET had porn images. There were porn images on BBSes. You could get a modem for your Apple ][ and spend however many hours you needed to spend… I would bet any sum that a Nokia brick was able to do SOMETHING porny. I don't care if it had no screen. Someone came up with a way to play porn over it. Possibly in Morse code :)

That's not even getting into how GPT-3 AI boyfriends will obliterate male sexual bargaining power, in exactly the same way and for the same reason pictures are said to obliterate female sexual bargaining power :) Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, man… Ya know just possibly, people can bond together in other ways that are not 'battle of bargaining power'… but you won't hear it from these battlers making these arguments…

You should hear when they are fighting with each other! :D Oh my god, if you think it's intense when women talk and bond about conflicts with men… I've read some interesting stuff about 'Gone Girl', which was written by a woman who wanted to get to write a full-on female villain. She was looking to explore female violence, described it as 'invasive', talked about how women entwine and how some of the nastiest relationships she'd ever seen had been women with women. There is SO much going on ther…

Fair observation. I know when I was younger I tried to be gay. You can get off good and hard, but it ain't fair to real gays: I was thinking about female parts. And that is just cruel. Ended up about the least narrow straight you could find, but I couldn't move my straight/gay meter even when it had some gay in it.

I'm sure this cuts both ways. Being able to understand the other gender isn't a given, but if you can get there, that's when their appeal, intelligence, depth etc. open up and become obvious to see.

Sex is a minefield for me. I have autism, and am well favored to about the 'one in a hundred' mark: this is not the 'world record setter' kind but close to what a lot of women seek out in ultimate toys. So it's famine or feast, dating-wise. I have great difficulty getting into a sexual relationship but once I am, I'm quickly over my head and plans are being made around me, often ones which I'm not let in on. I get sort of captured as a prize, but then the attempts to remake me set in… So far I d…

Not really. This is a debate forum about sex and gender issues: what I had to say was incredibly on-topic and the subreddit topic is incredibly relevant to thoughts I've had for a long time, looking at the situation out there. I had a recovery sponsor who had me reading progressive manspace authors (Sam Keen, Robert Bly) and I'm a working entrepreneur so I naturally take a sort of warriorlike angle to life, but I'm a leftie and stoic so I take great interest in applying that to benefitting the w…

What, now? ;) jail aside, one definition of celibacy is the renunciation of marriage, not just sex alone. That guy might as well be jacking off with brillo pads for all the lovelessness that makes up his world. He absolutely renounces marriage or anything beyond rape, on principle, and would have you believe he does it on purpose, as some sort of power play. It just landed him in jail, and that will happen over and over until it sticks for good unless he grows up. He is a child leading children,…

Tate is the incelliest incel I ever saw. He is just also the pushiest and rapiest one I ever saw. I don't think he gets to be 'non-incel' when he's some sort of archetype for certain kinds of incels.

To me that's the primary important area. I see no reason men can't be responsible for their actions. We have a whole legal system and the concept of 'crime' to establish and socialize that people don't just gratify their every impulse. I began to see what having a curbed libido was like when I got old enough (a few years over 50) to have enough erectile dysfunction that I wasn't sproinging into action like a teenage boy. It'd been maybe a decade since I'd tried, so it was an unwelcome surprise. …

If you're into sci-fi and/or fantasy you might like it. It seems like 'people except they're animals, and some are prey and some are predators. Now, imagine them sentient and trying to make a society with each other'. It seems to be exploring a lot of sexual and gender tropes that would be interesting to this subreddit! Stuff like a lion Mayor making a point of de-predatorizing his body to make him more electable. For 'sexual differences' read 'predator/prey differences'. Naturally since it's fu…

You specify, felt comfortable afterwards. I think women get more out of this 'feeling comfortable' than men do, more easily find that with each other, and don't necessarily have to be having sex to have that with each other. Dunno if that qualifies as 'death'! I've also seen it described as 'lesbian nesting', which makes better sense to me. It's not the only thing that can happen. Sexually excited, voracious women is NOT a myth, lesbian or not. It's just that for a woman there's this whole other…

It's just straight-up furry. Not even particularly extreme as furry goes. Degenerate is as degenerate does. Beastars is just pure furry, covering lots of the tropes.

Source: am writer (not for Netflix, but have studied scriptwriting quite a bit) How many writers for these shows are men, and how many of the executives hiring these writers are men? I've done a little research. Netflix is heavily data-driven. They'll be among the first to have ChatGPT write their stuff, and in practical terms data-driven properties are already that, just executed by human writers and executives. As a writer, if you're looking to go really commercial your job is not to give peop…

Don't overgeneralize. I'm far from unique but unironically, absolutely would go for your initial quotes there. 'Nice girl' is a trope that can include nerdy, small, anti-thot, petite, feisty, etc etc etc, and people can be into ALL sorts of tropes. I would absolutely turn up my nose at a mega insta Kardashian with lots of makeup and implants. If I want a shelf for a glass I'll build one, rather than tell a woman to stand a certain way and use her titanic butt. Even if she is an hourglass that st…
