God no. Two words; Get out!

He ghosted cause he only wants sex. He’s only prepared to put in certain amount of effort to get that said sex. Once he realized you’re interested in more than casual sex, he decided that’s not what he wants. He’s young which is why he’s not strong enough to tell you that yet himself. Keep doing what you’re doing- it’s the only way to weed out the pumpers and dumpers with some accuracy. Good luck

Well that makes sense - if you’re not ‘in love’ with him it should be very possible to move on. In the case of cheating it’s much easier to forgive a friend that you love vs. a man you’re ‘in love’ with.

Great post! If you have the time and energy I like this strategy a lot.

That’s refreshing to hear, a lot of times I’ve noticed that ones struggle with moving on. They’ll go back even when they know they shouldn’t

Personally I’ve found there are two types of people: 1) seldom fall for someone but when they do, they fall really hard 2) fall for a lot of people but never that deeply, find it easy to move on. Now I’m one of the 2nd group and my sister is in the 1st group. It sounds like you are in the 1st group too. She sounds very similar to you in many ways (she also has a much lower sex drive then me.) I think embrace this as part of who you are, when the right one comes along really enjoy it cause it’s r…

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted! I think you make some interesting points. Your post resonated with me because for me, TRP is a 'tool‘ that I can implement when the man that I want to marry comes along. I‘m grateful that TRP has given me such an insight into male psychology as well as my own as a woman and that’s very valuable to me, even though the TRP lifestyle is not something I personally aspire to. I have no plans of ever becoming a 'housewife' or SAHM. I’m very independent, self reli…

Coffee meets Bagel is great. Lots of conservative and Christian men. Also definitely men interested in relationships not casual flings

Also this is not your fault in anyway - it’s who he is as a person and I’m confident in saying that it’s also not a reflection of how much he loves you. Our attitudes towards money are often deep-seated, stem from childhood and the examples set by our parents etc. Financial incompatibilities are also very very difficult to solve in a relationship because our attitude to money is strongly linked to our survival instinct! Thus money runs even deeper than any feelings he has for you. Of course you …

That’s pretty hurtful honestly. It definitely says a lot about your boyfriend as a person though. Perhaps a side you haven’t noticed before? Honestly the reason I ended things with my ex and the reason I knew we’d never make it as a couple is because his attitude towards money was very different from mine. Growing up my family would fight everyone for the bill, if i had friends staying over etc. my parents would always pay for everything. This was my mindset in the relationship too - I was also …

Great advice and in my experience very accurate too!

tried my best to be a companion to my dad This sounds unhealthy! Do you realize the word companion has sexual connotations...? My questions would be more for you than your dad because it sounds like he’s getting a pretty sweet deal as is! Could you live by yourself? Do you have friends your own age and what’s the longest time you’ve spent outside your fathers‘ house? I ask because those sorts of experiences all create the building blocks required to be a modern human being. Even if your end goal…

It doesn’t sound like you love him (In which case why marry someone you don’t love?) anyway i honestly don’t think this has any chance of being a happy, lifelong marriage.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
