If you’re in New York, I’d check out Social Animal on YouTube. It’s not really a bootcamp and he doesn’t do night game but he basically just teaches guys to have genuine interactions with people they find interesting during the day.

There are scammers in Times Square but you should be fine. Just keep in mind that people who come to talk to you probably want something from you, so just keep your interactions short with them. If you're doing daygame, I remember seeing a lot of beautiful 20s-something girls in Dumbo near the Brooklyn Bridge. Streets aren't super busy down there compared to the Times Square area.

Honestly, I still have problems doing hit and runs even when I get good reactions most of the time from doing them. What helped me is to have a way to punish myself if I don't do it, so I'm basically trying to use fear (punishment) as a motivator to counteract the immediate fear (approaching). Last time I was in New York was right before COVID lockdowns in early March 2020. There were a lot of beautiful women there, but I was afraid to approach most of them.
