Several of those numbers are astonishingly comparable (if they are not, please correct me. I don't know much about race times). These are records. The TED talk was based around instances or races and comparing the top 10 in each race. The point was that you can expect to find a woman place in the top 10 of an ultramarathon, whereas you can not expect a woman to place in the top 10 of a 100m sprint (assuming both events include world-class athletes). Regarding the first part of your comment: yep, the more endurance-like the sport, the more similar men and women become. Compare n*100 meter times to marathon times to ultramarathon times and the disparity progressively decreases. Source: some TED talk on running.
