Just like how you people say women aren't a monolith for doing something bad, men aren't either.

I agree, but I wanted to shine some light on the times that it does happen, because I am currently arguing with someone who is, and then I saw your comment right after that.

No, but they might be afraid when she stabs him to death while he's sleeping, or when they throw dangerous objects at him. I genuinely believe you need therapy, because my god, is this an awful look for you.

Except it's happening right now. I'm already replying to a person dismissing male victims of abuse and saying it's their fault. Go check it out. And there are several examples of people blaming the man who is clearly the victim instead of the woman who is the aggressor.

You clearly don't understand that women are pretty damn capable of inflicting lots of damage on men. Most male victims of abuse won't even hit the woman back out of fear of being arrested or being seen as the "aggressor", because most male victims who called the police were the ones who got arrested. What a way to dismiss male victims of abuse. Amazing. People like you are the reason they are unable to speak up about their issues.

I'd say since you make more than her, you should contribute more to the rent. If you're both working the same amount of hours, but you're getting paid more, I think it'd be unfair to her for her to do 50/50.

"I've never experienced it, so that means it doesn't happen" is the most infuriating way to invalidate someone's experiences. I swear some of these people are just plain dumb.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
