Anyone been forced by their wife to choose between her and your mom? WtfWell it is not being a man. IT is being a rational human. I would have done anything if i was in his place to save my kids from this trauma. Probably, would have chosen my wife. My mom is very understanding and would have supported me to save my family. However you cannot maintain relationships with ego, Self rectitude and no self introspection. If your wife and you cannot grow as human and tolerate each other then it is good for everyone and kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/22 11:44 PM
Anyone been forced by their wife to choose between her and your mom? WtfWomen who fight with their MIL are stupid. My SBTXW had issues with my mom even though she never lived with her in last 3 years. She used to butt head with every one and anyone who did not agreed to her requests was an enemy. She tried to control every thing in my life. It is better to leave a toxic and Narc. person who cannot manage relations with others. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/22 10:31 PM
Anyone been forced by their wife to choose between her and your mom? WtfMan, I have been there it is not a matter of standing up. Ultimatums do not work in a relationship. She just wants to control you. However there are some questions. Does you mom live with you? Does she tries to give ultimatum in other things as well. Does she agrees to her faults or shortcomings. If you are able to answer these questions you would know about state of your marriage. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/22 10:25 PM

I’m (29M) considering divorcing my wife (28F) due to her failure to contribute anything to our marriage financially. Yes, I can support her and I make a pretty good living. My problem is that I should not need to support her at the level that I am, due to the context of our marriage currently.i Just think many women want to be feminist because they can blame men for oppression done on them and all the hardships of past felt by women. my STBX was self declared feminist but eventually she turned out to be opportunist. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/02/22 09:35 PM
Think it’s about time to call it quits on a 11 year marriage with 3 kidsMan she has lost respect for you. she has started to criticize you more often and don't are for you. if you don't have past memories of love and strong bond in which you appreciated each other it is very difficult to salvage the relationship. This becomes very difficult if the person think she is always right and don't accept responsibility. This would go downhill from here if these behaviors do not improve. I would recommend 7 Principles for making a marriage work by John M Gottman as a self he… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/02/22 09:23 PM
